He pulled her in, claiming her mouth once again, ravenously and intensely, until her knees gradually gave in. By the time she'd became aware of her fingers, they had already slipped underneath his shirt, she hadn't even noticed just how his smooth his skin was and how it was radiating a burning heat.
It was as if the whole moment had stopped time, as they stood silently propped against the wall, glued to each other. How did they end up like this? That was a question she wanted to know, how could she even let herself fall so weak at his mere touch?

"So... how do I look?" She twirled around in her white pleated dress as she stared at Alex through her phone. Since they weren't able to hang out tonight, video calling was the next best thing. He was sitting in his bedroom, lying back on his bed as the two of them conversed. Then not hanging out wasn't too bad, he looked quite tired anyway, so maybe this way he could catch up on some sleep.
He didn't try to hide the disheartened smile that was beginning to surface on his pink lips. "You look beautiful... but I wish that I could have spent some time with you tonight..."
He wasn't the only one who wished that, she wanted with all her heart to escape this awkward dinner and go out with him. She'd often compare him to a truffle, he had lots of amazing layers. He was charming, sweet, kind and funny. In other words, he was the human form of perfection.
"So what do you think? A pearl necklace or a pendant?" Truth be told, Alex didn't know the first thing about fashion, so he blindly said the last one he had heard. "Pendant sounds great." His feelings for Natalie were so deep, that he'd say anything just to make her pleased.
She looked down at the heart shaped pendant in her hand, she couldn't actually remember the origin of where she had gotten this particular necklace. It could of been a gift from a relative one of her birthday years. But she didn't dwell on that too much, the necklace suited the outfit well- which was the main thing.
She leaned forwards towards her dresser to pick her cellphone up. "Alright, well I better go. I'll text you later!" And with that she blew him a small kiss through the phone, before ending the call with the small click of a red button.
