𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙛𝙛

Locking the door and leaving was easier said than done. The girl had woken up late after getting kicked from a group chat and rushed to get everything together, why does she do this to herself?

Finally collecting everything except her scattered thoughts she left, even forgetting to lock the door behind her. She caught the bus and found a seat at the back.

"Yes, at last I find some luck!" The girl whispered to herself as she got a window seat. Sitting down and laying her head on the window she drifted off to sleep.

Tanjiro waited outside the agreed area for what felt like an eternity, he sighed but still continued to wait. By the time the awaited time came around he almost left; if not for the girl sitting next to him huffing.

Tanjiro looked over quietly, "Sorry I'm late, I fell asleep and woke up late. Even though I was awake before hand, I fell back asleep." She said before giving him a quick glance. Tanjiro let his eyes roam around the girl's face.

She looked exhausted but even now she looked good, no...better than good. She was beautiful, he couldn't help himself but notice all of the perfections.

The girl looked at him with a smile as she stood up and held a hand out for him, he took it nervously.

"Let's get this show on the road! But before that," The girl trailed off as she pulled him up, she was only shorter than him by a few inches.

Tanjiro was pulled against her and she sandwiched them together, a warm embrace made Tanjiro want to melt. She wrapped her arms around his torso as her head made contact with his chest.

He wrapped his arms around her and leaned down to set his head on hers, a smile adorned his face along with tinted cheeks. Tanjiro knew just how much everyone would kill to be in his shoes.

'I could get used to this...' Tanjiro thought as the girl snuggled her face further in. Soon, much to Tanjiro's dismay, she left the gentle embrace.

"You ready?" The girl asked looking up at Tanjiro with a smile, he nodded and they entered the arcade. "Oh wow, so many flashing lights." Tanjiro muttered and the girl nodded in agreement.

"Welp, let's go!" The girl said grabbing hold of Tanjiro's hand and whisking him away into the kid infested area. Tanjiro just smiled and let her take him wherever.

The girl was surprisingly good at flappy bird, Tanjiro watched in amazement. Tanjiro's eyes scanned the girl's face, trying desperately to engrave it in his memory.

Tanjiro noticed a lot of things; he noticed the determined look in her eyes, he noticed the furrow of her eyebrows, he noticed her tongue at the side of her mouth, he noticed how her gentle hands rapidly press on the machine. He noticed a lot of things.

The one thing that stuck out was her smell...oh God her smell. It was so strange yet so alluring. Was it lavender, or dandelions? He couldn't decide on which one smelt better.

He finally settled on whichever one made her smell like that. A field of lavender, soothing him into a wanting sleep. Oh, what he would do to just have her cuddled up against him. His arms around her, her head laying against his neck.

His fingers twisting her hair while she slept, or he could...he could settle on her doing that to him. Her massaging his head with her nimble, and soft fingers.

Tanjiro was so entranced with his longing, and yearning thoughts that he didn't notice the girl jumping up and down happily. He was finally pulled from his thoughts when she shook him back and forth.
