Once again, Aizawa found himself behind the girl in her wheelchair, pushing her along the path and towards the dorms. It was 6:30pm so he knew everyone would be in the dorms. He also knew some of the teachers would be in the dorm, knowing he had gone to see her in such a rush meant something had happened, so he knew they'd be in the kid's dorm waiting with them for his return.
As they approached the dorm, he realised there was no way of getting the chair up the stairs with ease. She was thinking the same thing, until she had an idea. He felt his hands start to lift up, so he looked down to see the chair slowly but surely levitating into the air.
Continuing to hold on and keep pushing, they managed to make it up the stairs with no problem. They stopped at the door. He looked at her to see if she was nervous or excited. But her expression was stoic, as it had been since the car ride. He bent down so they were eye level.
"I'm going to go inside first to explain the situation to them, so they don't overwhelm you. You wait here, I won't be long." She simply nodded and gave him a small smile, letting him know she'd be okay by herself. And with that, he got up and went inside, closing the door behind him.
He could hear the students talking, but not as loud as usual. They were worried. Well, who wouldn't be when your teacher gets a phone call in the middle of class and suddenly runs out the door without a word. Even their sub, Present Mic, didn't explain to them what was going on.
The talking ceased when they heard the door close. They stared intently at the entry way as their teacher came into view. He stopped when he saw them all there, even all the teachers were there. They knew it was either amazing news or devastating news. But his face gave nothing away.
"...So, she's awake, and is right outside." Everyone sighed with relief.
"Wait, sir why is she outside? Why didn't you bring her in? Is she okay?" Midoriya asked frantically, worry building back up the more questions he asked. And with those few simple questions, everyone else also began worrying again.
"She's okay. I just have to explain a few things to you all, so you don't bombard her with questions."
And with that he explained everything that had happened in the last few hours to them all. They agreed to take it easy on her and to not overwhelm her and make her feel welcome.
Meanwhile, she sat outside the door, getting a bit bored. She turned her chair to look around a bit, see if she recognised anything, but no such luck.
Suddenly, the bush just down the path from her rustled. She stared at it intently, but her expression didn't change.
"What no smile for me doll?" The voice was raspy, almost sounded burnt. A tall figure stood from behind the bush. The sun had begun to set, so it was hard to make out what he looked like with the sun shining on his back, shadowing his front half. But she could make out two almost glowing pair of turquoise eyes staring deep into her soul. His eyes moved ever so slightly, almost as if he was looking behind her at something. He started to back away.
"I'll come get you soon doll, don't you worry." One of the orbs disappeared as he winked at her, and soon he was gone, off into the shadows and out of sight, just as the door opened behind her.
"You ready?" Her head turned to face the scruffy but very handsome man, and she nodded.
