"Taehyung... can I really trust you?"
His voice trembled and could hardly be heard, but it was the loudest for me at that moment.
I nodded without hesitation.
"Of course, I really want to help you."
Jungkook didn't answer but laid his head in my neck.
When I felt the boy tremble in my arm, I noticed that the cold was also moving my body more and more.
"Hold on to me, I'll carry you home.
We'll only get sick if we keep sitting here."
Jungkook listened to me and wrapped his legs around my waist.
As I stood up, I grabbed his thighs to steady him.
We quickly found ourselves in front of my house again.
I opened the door without letting the boy down.
I took the boy to my bedroom where he would sleep.
"Where do you sleep?"
Jungkook asked me to my surprise.
"I will sleep on the sofa."
I replied with a smile, whereupon Jungkook nodded and snuggled into the bed.
I covered the boy with the blanket properly before I left the bedroom and closed the door behind me.
Before I went to sleep I cleaned up the living room and turned off the TV.
I set an alarm and lay down on the sofa.
Since I was thinking about a lot, it took me a little while to fall asleep, but at some point I fell into a dreamless sleep.
