"I-I don't have to eat out of a dog bowl?"

I looked at Jungkook confused.
Inwardly I had to laugh a little as I imagined Jungkook eating out of a dog bowl.
I knew it wasn't customized, but I couldn't help my thoughts.

"Why should you?"
Jungkook's confused gaze brightened and a small smile crept onto his lips.
That smile faded, however, when he looked back at the food, which seemed to be a lot more interesting than I was.

"T-thank you for the food."
I smiled and nodded, at which point Jungkook started to eat.

The younger one ate quickly, which showed that he hadn't had much before.
This was nothing new to me, however, as I could already tell from his body.

After we finished eating, I quickly washed the dishes.
Suddenly something came to my mind that I had bought for Jungkook.

"Here try it."
Smiling, I held out a small bottle of banana milk to Jungkook, which the boy hesitantly took.
First he just looked at the yellowish drink before he dared to take a sip.
It didn't stop with that one sip, however, as Jungkook drank all of the liquid in one go.

"I think you like it, don't you?"
I laughed when I saw Jungkook's big smile.
Jungkook immediately nodded and started to smile even more.
I bent over to him and gently stroked his soft hair.

"Come on, let's go to bed, it's getting late."
Nodding, Jungkook got up and left the room with a simple 'ok'.
I followed the boy into my bedroom where he immediately snuggled into the covers of my bed.
I stroked the boy's hair again.
"Good night."

As I turned to leave the room, Jungkook stopped me.
I turned back to the boy questioningly.

"U-um.. are you sleeping on the sofa again?"
I nodded and softly said 'yes'.
Jungkook seemed as if he wanted to say something, but he just nodded and let me go with a "good night to you too".

With a soft smile I left the bedroom and made my way to my sofa.
There I also snuggled up in my blanket.
