Louis tidied up the dishes from around the kitchen before changing into some joggers and a t-shirt not bothering too much because he didn't plan on leaving the house, it was a Saturday so he really couldn't be bothered.

He did decide to get some work done so grabbed a glass of orange juice and his laptop before heading to the study, he sat down running his hands over the desk, finding a stylus and his iPad before getting to work.

Louis was starting his new job on Monday, working in a primary school as a music teacher but also designing things as a side job.

Today he was creating a music-themed tattoo design sheet for a local tattoo artist who needed more variety in his linework so asked Louis to help him out.

One of Louis' personal favorites was a butterfly tattoo he had designed a while back but it was to an artist back in Donny so he would never see it on someone, but he had a few in the same style but not butterflies so he would probably just add on a few designs because he was given total free range.

The job paid quite well, which a lot of people assumed it didn't, but the shop had to buy the designs and he still got artist's the copyright- he got a certain percentage of the money that got paid in if someone had that tattoo done went to him.

It was nice, he always loved that he could make money from his hobbies. Hours later he had gotten completely sidetracked because he had found a sketchbook in his bag, he had then felt obligated to draw on paper so had put his stylus away and pushed his iPad backward on his desk.

He was daydreaming and sketching so really had no idea what he was sketching but looked down to find a partial head and shoulders portrait of a certain curly-haired boy he met last night.

He pinched the bridge of his nose surely covering it in graphite as he pushed his glasses up, Harry had been on his mind as of late especially after Louis saw him in that hoodie.

He was wrenched from his thoughts as he heard the doorbell ring, he looked at the clock it was one already and he hadn't had lunch.

Begrudgingly he stood up from his seat and walked over unlocking the door to find Harry and Niall standing outside, he stood aside to let them in laughing at their reactions to the cooler end of summer weather.

"Heya Louis!" Niall said cheerily as Harry waved a greeting "hey guys if imma be honest with you I kinda forgot you were coming over" Louis said chuckling as he headed through to the dining room getting a stack of board games out of the cupboard and placing them down on the large table.

"You two want tea?" "Obviously" Louis laughed and put the kettle to boil while getting out a few mugs that just had memes on them no funny slogans. Not after earlier. This time Louis got out a teapot because since they were going to be sitting at a table for a while they might as well have extra tea.

Louis headed to his study and tucked away his sketchpad into a drawer and pulled his oversized hoodie on which had been discarded on the back of his chair.

Heading back to the kitchen as he pulled the hoodie over his head, he was waiting for the kettle to boil when Harry stepped into the kitchen "glasses" Louis subconsciously shied away and took them off much to Harry's dismay.

"Yeah I know they look stupid" Harry shook his head having lipread the boy "They don't I was gonna say they looked nice" Louis smiled hiding slightly behind his hand as he went to put his glasses on "wait"

Harry walked up to him "can I?" Louis nodded as the much taller boy leant down and dusted the graphite off his nose with the slightly calloused tip of his thumb "sorry you just had something" Harry stepped back tucking his hair behind his ear a pink blush spreading over his cheeks.

"it's graphite. I draw sometimes" Louis said speaking slowly so Harry could pick up on what he was saying, Harry nodded "I'm going to pick a game with Niall, you almost done?" Louis nodded "yeah, and Harry" the boy taller boy turned back "I meant what I said yesterday I swear I do think your voice is nice"

Harry put up his thumbs turning back and muttering to himself "Only speak for you Lou" but still he smiled heading back into the dining room.

the kettle boiled moments later and he picked up a tray and got some chocolate digestives and custard creams next to the mugs and the milk jug, carefully cramming the crockery together before going through to the dining room.
