"Come on, Aurora. It's not the end of the world. It's just a potion class. We'll be late." She rolled her eyes at Marlene's demand. Easy for her to say. She was not the one to sit with the person she most despised. Even thinking about it messed up Aurora's mood. For that reason, she was not so keen on arriving at the class earlier than needed. However, the girls were making it hard for her.

"I know that it's the just middle of October but I want to learn how to make Veritaserum. It sounds so intriguing to me." Mary said, walking beside Lilly.

"I would like to study Amortentia, though," Lilly added.

"What the hell is Amortentia?" mumbled Aurora. She decided to engage in the conversation, finally.

"Oh, It's a love potion. It causes a powerful obsession in the drinker." explained Lilly."It also smells different to each person according to what attracts them most."

Aurora wondered what would her Amortentia smell like. She thought about her favorite things; old books, Christmas, cats, and even her mother's freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Aurora and her father adored her mom's baking. Her little brother, on the other hand, was not fancying them. He found them to be too sweet.

When they arrived at the class, most of the students were already in their seats; some gossiping, some double-checking their essays. Aurora approached her seat, putting her belongings on the right side of the desk. It appears Remus was here before her as there were his items spread out. When the brunette checked around, she saw the Marauders in a far corner of the room. They were heatedly discussing something, except one of them was missing.

"Can you move?" a stern voice was heard behind her, followed by a hot chocolate scent.

"This is my place too, you know," said Aurora to Remus.

"Then can you sit? If not, move, Martin. The class is about to start."

Aurora rolled her eyes as she moved for Remus to sit on the left side of the desk, before taking a seat next to him. Students were also heading to their places. When Aurora glanced at Lilly, she saw James and her having a conversation. A few moments later, Professor Slughorn was in the classroom, gathering the essays.

"Today, you will be learning about Felix Felicis, also called "Liquid Luck". Who can tell me about this potion?" asked the professor as he finished collecting the essays from students. "Mr. Lupin?"

"Felix Felicis is a potion that makes the drinker lucky for a period of time, during which everything they attempt will be successful," Remus answered as he lowered his hand.

"Thank you, Mr. Lupin. I will teach you how to prepare this potion in theory today. However, in the future, you will be learning how to make this potion in practice." said Slughorn before turning to the board. As Professor started to write the ingredients and instructions for the potion, students were taking notes in their notebooks. Aurora took her quill in her left hand and started to write.

1. Put Ashwinder egg into a cauldron.
2. Add horseradish, then heat the cauldron.

She couldn't continue to take her notes. Her left arm was colliding with Remus's right arm. Remus must also sense it, as he exhaled in frustration before moving his arm a little closer to himself. Aurora side-eyed him while doing the same.

3. Juice a squill bulb, pour the juice into the cauldron and stir vigorously
4. Chop up the anemone-like spikes on the back of Murtlap, add to the mixture, and heat.
5. Add a dash of tincture of thyme and stir slowly.

"Stop pushing my arm!" she turned to whisper-shout at Remus.

"I'm not pushing anything, Martin. Your arm is occupying too much space. That's why it naturally collapses with mine. Maybe you should consider moving away from me." Remus replied coldly.
