Chapter. 16 Alice

I finally wake, what's in front of me is horrifying. Anix is on the ground face first not moving. I scramble to him on my knees. I turn him around and check his pulse. Thank god he's alive. I observe what's around me, Tess and Madison are sitting looking in the distance waiting for everyone to wake I guess. Bronx is laying on his back, he almost looks stiff with his arms and legs in. I crawl over to him and analyze his face. He looks quite goofy, his mouth is out, maybe he's sleeping. I rock him back and forth. He wakes abruptly "who is it!" He says and pushes me. I lay on my back.
"What was that for!" I yell.
"I'm so sorry...uh, I had a dream." He apologizes.
"What about?" I ask curiously. I've asked that the second time or the third time, I think.
He explains "you were inside the Capitol building asking for help so I ran to you and as soon as our fingers met the front of the building collapsed." Its the same dream Anix had but more detail.
"My brother had the same dream but you had more in you're dream." I say.
"More?" He says confusingly.
I explain "well you know, well he didn't explain much as you did." He laughs but I don't know why. Before I can ask he kisses me and everything around me changes, my hands get numb by the beating of his and my heart. I feel stiff by his kiss that makes me breathless but I unfold from the caressing hand comforting my cheek. He finally lets go and we both laugh, but soon the laughter stop by a sound...screaming. We all jump up in panic, we look everywhere. Thats when I see my brother gasping, I immediately run over to him and ask "what's wrong!"
"Nothing, just a bad dream" he says. This time I don't dare to ask what it was about, instead I look at the landscape around us, its a valley. Its flat for the next five miles but from there it's all woods.
I ask Madison "can't you get any connection so you contact with Riley or Kan Un?"
She speaks back "everything is down." Taylor rolls her eyes. "And if it's easier, Kan un also prefers Kane" she says delighted. Instead of reacting to Madison's response I react to Taylor and say "what's the deal with your attitude!"
"What's the deal with yours, can't keep you're stupid parents safe so you don't know where to go!" she says. My body feels up with so much hate that my eyes tear up. I grit my teeth and yell while I lunge at her throat. I tighten my fingers around her throat and squeeze. Her eyes are bulging out and her face gets red, I squeeze harder and her eyes starts close but I don't stop. That's when they break us up. She drops to the ground gasping for air.
