Alice suddenly whops tears even more after I tell her. But the man I was talking to said it like he needed something to do, like he was in a rush. And the only people that talk so firm and dark are the government soldiers. I pull her away and tell her about who I was talking to."It was a government soldier."
"How do you know" she says curiously.
"I could tell by the way they talk and act."
"Do you think they're hiding something, do you think they have something to do with my parents death!" she says angrily.
"No, they would never do something that cruel." I say not thinking about it.
"You never know, I mean they are the government." I take mind into her words and think, can they be capable of such cruelty. Still crying she walks into her room. A few hours later we both fall asleep cuddling one another for comfort. I wake up to see my mom in the living room and she is holding a gun in her hand and she says "now its your time." and aims it at me, I am too late to stop her and the gun goes off. I wake up very hot but not sweaty. Still with Alice laying comfortably under my arms. As I lay staring at the ceiling, I think of how great my parents were. They used to tuck me in bed, watch tv with me, and they always told me my dreams would come true. But almost every night I heard mom and dad whispering, and the only word I heard clearly was the word government.
