His warm hands were flat against your belly as the house filled with silence

His warm hands were flat against your belly as the house filled with silence. Neither of you breathed as you waited for the baby to move. Finally, a little kick pushed against his hand as you both broke out in huge smiles.

"There's a baby growing in you," he said, leaning closer to your stomach. His lips pressed against your bare skin as you closed your eyes in pure happiness.

Dacre and you had been trying for a baby for years and almost nine months ago, both of your dreams had come true. Sitting on the toilet, you looked on the timer on your phone as the seconds ticked by like hours. Dacre leaned against the wall across from you as you waited for the torturous two minutes to finally be over.

When the timer went off, you both huddled over the tiny stick on the counter. Holding your breath, you peered at the display screen, your heart beating faster than you thought possible. The words "pregnant" sat confidently on the screen, making your mind go numb. Dacre took you in his arms, lifting you off the ground as his words blurred into the background.

You were pregnant, finally.

His words came back into focus as you squealed with happiness, holding tight to him as he left the bathroom and sat you down on the bed. As your back met the bed, Dacre started his assault of kisses working from your neck down to your stomach as he pepped kissed all over your abdomen. Smiling at him, tears of joy started to form. Since you married Dacre five years ago, the only thing you ever wanted was to start a family. Now, it was happening.

Throughout the pregnancy, he was the most devoted husband and soon-to-be father you had ever witnessed. Dacre waited on you hand and foot, not wanting anything to risk the growing child in your womb. At first, it irritated you because you had always been independent. As soon as you both knew there was a baby growing inside of you, it was like a light switched. You weren't just you anymore, you were an expecting mother.

But with time came understanding and acceptance. You were grieving the loss of who you once were- the freedom you used to have, the life you used to live. Yet, the child in you was the only thing you had wanted for years. You mourned your past but was ecstatic for your future with Dacre.

The day you went into labor was like any other day; it was a random Tuesday morning in the middle of summer. As you walked across the house, your bare feet wadded across the floor until you reached the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

"Baby, what're you doing?" you heard Dacre's sleepy voice drift towards you from the bedroom.

Before you had the chance to respond, you felt water dripping down your thighs. Sighing, you looked at the glass in your hand, only to realize you hadn't even poured the water yet. You were in labor.

"I'm having a baby," you yelled back at Dacre, bracing yourself against the countertop.

"Yes, I know," he said, yawning as he walked towards the kitchen. Dacre stopped in his tracks as he looked at you as you deep breathed through the first contraction.

"Oh, you're having a baby. Like right now?" he asked, still frozen in his spot across the counter from you.

"Yes, Dacre. Right now," you seethed, groaning out in pain as another contraction hit you.

He rushed you into the car, his hand on your back as he whispered encouraging words into your ear. After you hit eight months, the two of you had decided to put the "Go Bag" into the car so you were ready at any point to rush to the hospital.

Dacre lowered your rounded body into the sedan, the new car scent hitting all of your senses. A few weeks ago, he traded his beloved Audi for a family-safe sedan. He drove like his life depended on it, and maybe it did. The longer the drive took, the harder you gripped his hand until his fingers started to turn white from the pressure.

Moments after arriving at the hospital, your back was pressed against an uncomfortable bed as doctors repeated to breathe and to push. Four hours later, a baby girl was gently sat into your awaiting arms. Sighing out of relief, you held the small baby tightly against you as she slept peacefully. Dacre stood beside you, his eyes bright as he looked at the beautiful human the two of you had created with love.

"She's so beautiful," he spoke softly, more to himself than anyone.

"She has your eyes," you smiled.

Even though the next few months were rough, with sleepless nights and stressful arguments, they were months you wouldn't trade for the world. Your daughter changed everything, but change is sometimes needed, warranted. Change can sometimes be the most beautiful thing you have ever witnessed. And that's all you saw when you looked at your daughter in Dacre's arms, both of them fast asleep in the rocking chair. Pure beauty.

So? It turns out Wattpad deleted the Jason x Billy x Reader pt.2 without telling me or giving me any sort of warning. I'm kind of pissed about that, honestly. I went to write part 3 today and realized part 2 is gone 🙃.

Should I write part 2 again or just move on? What do you think?

Thank you for reading, lovelies. Have a great weekend.
