On the other side of the world, Justin Jefferson had just finished up a day of practice for the Minnesota Vikings.

It was still at time surreal for him, because he didn't have a lot of executives and scouts who believed in his talent. Playing in the NFL was a blessing of his.

Walking in the locker room he noticed that his teammates had their eye on one of those college softball games they had been watching for the past few days.

Instead this was a game between UGA and UCF.

He didn't really pay attention to softball, but he had nothing to do after his shower so why not sit down and watch a game for a few minutes? It couldn't kill him.

"Brianna is a beast." Dalvin said.

"She is, I still want her mom though." Kris, another teammate said out loud.

Justin shook his head, but he thought to himself. Who is Brianna and why is she such a hot topic in this locker room right now?

"Brianna amazing performance today! We see you have your whole family here supporting you! Including your beautiful mom, what motivated your performance today?"

"Practice and my coaches, and my wonderful mother. Have a blessed day."

So this is Brianna. She's very beautiful, is all he could think. He didn't say that out loud, but he was thinking it.

His teammates noticed his silence. They were used to JJ being the life of the party in the locker-room.

"Someone's caught Jefferson's eye." The quarterback of the Vikings, Kirk Cousins said laughing with the rest of the team.

They definitely weren't laughing at Justin, but they were laughing at how Miss Brianna Douglas had him in a trance.

He sat in a chair, posture fully well, completely focused on the TV screen that was mounted.

"Just follow her on Instagram or something man, cause this is ridiculous." Kris shook his head walking to the showers of the locker room.

"You know I'll do it, don't play with me." Justin said. He was back to talking to his guys as a result of a commercial break.

"Ight, imma check your following when I get home too boy!" Kris laughed at him, the two treated each other like family.

If anyone knew Justin, they knew he had confidence. He wasn't one to back down to anything, anything.

What's the worst she could do? Justin thought. Not follow back.

His eyes scanned over her profile while he made his way to his car. By now he had made his way out of the facility saying goodbye to his teammates.

Before starting his Mercedes, Justin said fuck it and followed Brianna's Instagram.

He didn't care about the outcome, but he knew that if she saw his follow, she would notice the blue checkmark that sat by his username.

He drove home with his normal routine, letting music play, and rapping or singing the lyrics all the way until his arrival.

Once he made it home he relaxed in bed, that was short lived when Ja'Marr. A wide receiver for the Bengals, also his former teammate at LSU was blowing up his phone.

Justin didn't know why Brianna had caught his eye so much, but she did.

Maybe it was the way she responded to the reporter, maybe it was how beautiful she was, it was not that she was in a relationship.

Justin was a southern boy. Meaning that when they see something they like, usually they go after it.

All he had to do was build up the guts to actually text her. He checked his Instagram, and to his surprise Jay was right. She did follow him back.

But that's all she did, she didn't like a post, and she hadn't viewed his recent story.

It made Justin feel as if she just followed him back out of a certain respect that Ja'Marr was friends with him.

He'll never know what could happen unless he actually reaches out, which needs to be soon.
