All were eating dinner that's when Srinivasan said something that made Nikki choke on her food.
'why so hurry dad?" Arjun asked him.
"She is going to be soon 25 Arjun. It's correct only". Lalitha said.
The news Srinivasan said is
he found a good marriage proposal for Nikki.
"Mom.. But.." Nikki said trailing off she don't know how to say them that there is someone in her heart and she can't imagine any other person in that place.
"Princess, we are not forcing you. We will continue the proposal only if you like the groom" . Srinivasan said assuring her.
"OK dad". Nikki whispered.
Saahithiya and Arjun both noticed Nikki they understood that something is wrong with her.
Nikki quickly finished her dinner and went to her room.
In Nikki's room
Nikki's thoughts were running wildly 'Why all the bad things are happening to me?? Can't I stay peaceful for a minute?? No I can't let it happen?? I want to do something and stop it. what will I do now??
Nikki was literally freaking out hearing the word marriage that too with the person which is not her lover. she itself don't know what is happening to her.
There was a knock on her room door. She opened it to see Saahithiya standing there with warm milk for her.
"Can I come inside?" Saahithiya asked Nikki.
"Hmm" Nikki said.
Saahithiya gave her milk to drink. Nikki was drinking it silently.
"what happened Nikki? What's bothering you?" Saahithiya asked her.
"Nothing Anni, I'm fine". Nikki said trying to smile.
"Don't try to lie Nikki. I can see the hurt in your eyes. What happened tell me? I can help you if needed". Saahithiya said .
"Anni I am in love with someone". Nikki said slowly looking at Saahithiya.
"Ohh, what about that person?" Saahithiya asked her.
"Anni, you don't want to know who is he? You are asking about their feelings?" Nikki asked confused because she expected Saahithiya to ask her about the person but she didn't.
"That's is because you only said you are in love with someone not like you are in relationship or you were dating someone so that tells me only about your feelings not the other one so I want to know about their feelings before knowing about them". Saahithiya explained her.
"You are brilliant Anni". Nikki said chuckling.
"I know that. Now tell me about them". Saahithiya asked her.
"I don't know Anni. Because I didn't confess my feelings to him". Nikki said fidgeting with her t-shirt .
"Why?? Are you afraid of rejection?" Saahithiya asked her.
"I'm afraid of what he would tell that he thinks me only as his friend or sister. even if it is friend means I'm okay, but if he thinks me as his sister I can't take it Anni". Nikki said crying.
"Shh don't cry. Are you a crybaby??" Saahithiya asked wiping her tears. Hearing a word sister one particular person flashed in Saahithiya's mind ,she guessed who it would be.
"Nope, I'm sweet baby". Nikki said with a teary smile.
Saahithiya smiled at her and asked her "But if you didn't tell him about your feelings means how will you get to know about what he is feeling about you?? One day or other you want to know about that na, so better tell it now sooner. Let's hope for the best".
