Days were passing by

Nikki and Surya were slowly getting used to their new phase of life.

It's been one month of their married life.

During their initial days of marriage, Nikki was so angry on Surya ...that she was not even in talking terms with him. But Surya was persistent in his efforts of earning her forgiveness. He used to talk to her non stop even if she is not acknowledging him. Infact to be truth Surya was hurt by her behaviour....but he knows... Now she is not the one herself who he grew up with from childhood, because the one he knows is the one who doesn't hold on her angry for so long and stop talking with that person in angry...indeed she used to fight with them and try to solve their issues . But seeing her so closed off itself tells him how much hurt she would have been felt by his actions that she sheds off herself from surrounding. He felt immense pain seeing her closed off self....this thought made his efforts of persuing her very strong. And he also got succeed in bringing her out of shell and Now both were in talking terms and were going to office together.

Nikki smiled seeing her husband sleeping peacefully on his side of bed. She was sitting on her side reading a book. A soft smile adnored her lips when she remembered the day they both chose their sides of bed.

It was 5th day after their marriage. That was the first day for Nikki in Surya's apartment as they both stayed in her parents house after 4 days of their marriage.

Nikki was arranging the clothes in her wardrobe. Surya was surprised by her gesture because he thought Nikki would take the guest room instead of staying in his room. As he was also not at fault for thinking like this because Nikki didn't even speak a word to him in these 4 days. 
Seeing this, he decided to speak with her.

"Nikki..." Surya called her.

She just turned her head towards him.

"Can we talk??" Surya asked her
"Only if you want .."he quickly added the last part nervously.

She came and sat next to him at a safe distance.

Surya heaved a relief of breath and held her hands in his saying "Nikki I am sorry for my doings.. I know it's not easy for you to forgive me easily. But please atleast give me a chance to rectify my mistake. Please talk to me Nikki. I don't like your silence.. it's killing me... I know how much you have been hurt that you stopped talking to me. But please try to look from my point of view.. I am not saying that I am not at fault but the way I approached is only at fault.."

Seeing her silent self,he continued his talk.

"Nikki now we are husband and wife... I want us to live a life which we dreamt once of living with eachother rather than sulking on the past which has chances of destroying our present and future...so please Nikki break your silence and let your emotions out...you can scold me how much ever you want or even beat me till your angry subsides but don't be silent suppressing all your emotions inside...this is not only hurting me... also you I know that".

Nikki eyes filled with tears hearing his words.she looked at him.

Surya wiped her tears and hugged her slowly. He thought she will push him aside but she didn't do anything like that so slowly kissed her forehead.

'First hug and First kiss' Nikki's heart squealed at their moments.

At night both went to sleep Nikki went to sleep on left side of the bed but Surya was standing and was thinking where to sleep either in the bed or in coach. Seeing him deep in the thoughts Nikki cleared her throat gaining his attention.
