❥~3 months later~❥

The light knock that was heard on Felix's door wasn't unusual at all. Not in the slightest. When he opened it, he saw just who he was expecting, a boy with brown straight hair that went just below his eyes.

"Hey."

The boy could tell Felix wasn't in the happiest of moods but he smiled nonetheless, revealing his braces which almost anyone found adorable on him.

"Hey Lix," he said walking past the older, making himself at home. "Hey Seungmin," Felix didn't bother asking why the boy was at his house, it was the same as every other night.

Seungmin sat a plastic bag down on the table, and began to pull out the containers inside. Felix sighed and took a seat across the table, pulling his feet up to his chest. "You don't have to keep bringing me food."

Seungmin slid a container of food across to where the older was seated at, "well, someone has to feed you. You won't eat other wise, and we can't have that can we?"

"We could."

"Absolutely not." Seungmin was quick to reply while taking out his own food and sitting down. "Now eat up." Felix did as he was told, but only a little, he took a few bites and then picked around at the food until Seungmin had finished eating. He then claimed he was full and put the food in his fridge promising to eat it later.

Seungmin, wasn't dumb, he knew Felix wasn't going to eat it later, but if he could come over every night and get him to eat at least have a few bites, that was more than enough for him.

Now, the two boys were sitting on the couch. Wrapped up in blankets and just relaxing, it's what they did every time. Seungmin didn't mind though.

After about 20 minutes of silence Felix spoke up, "why do you do this for me?"

Seungmin looked up from his phone with a confused expression, "What do you mean?" Felix sighed and sat up from his laying position on the couch. "I mean , what's the reason for you.. taking care of me and keeping me company?"

Seungmin just blinked at Felix, not having expected this question, "we're friends."

"Are we?"

The younger shrugged, "I've always liked you as a person, Felix, I think you're a nice. I like spending time with you... me being friends with.. him in the past, doesn't change that."

"But.. you met me through him, so why are you friends with me and not him?"

"I'm not not friends with him, we just don't talk that much. I've always wanted to be friends with you but you never talked that much."

I guess you could say the older was confused, confused and skeptical. He didn't want to think the worst of Seungmin, but what other choice did he have?

After everything that happened, he couldn't just trust anybody. He refused to do that again.

Seungmin sighed and rolled up a bag of chips, "Felix, I'm not here to make you feel like some project. I get it, you don't really want anything to do with him.. if you want, I can stop bothering you."

Felix didn't reply, he just stared up at the ceiling, watching the fan spin. Of course, seungmin took that as his answer and stood up, folding the blanket he was using and setting it on the end of the couch.

He quietly gathered his belongings, turning to Felix once more, "don't forget to eat tomorrow.." again, no reply from Felix. He swiftly opened the door and disappeared from the older ones sight.

Sitting up, Felix lifted the blanket in search for his phone. He opened up his messages with seungmin. There wasn't much of course, it was mostly Seungmin texting, and a couple 'okays' and short answers from Felix.

The boy sighed and began to let his fingers text first for once, |I don't usually like having friends.| after seeing that the message had been seen he began to type again, |let's go out tomorrow instead, you're probably getting tired of take out.|

Felix sat his phone down, face up, on his living room stand and stared at it, nervously biting his chapped lips. Luckily for him it only took a few seconds before he got a reply.

|wanna go out with some friends? We made plans, but I'm sure they'd love you.|

Felix was quick to grab his phone. He read the message, did he want to? No. Absolutely not. But he sat aside his attitude this time.

|sure, sounds good.|

Felix got up, leaving his blanket sprawled against the couch. He lazily traveled to his bathroom, and stared at himself in the mirror. His hair was growing out, his brown roots very evident, much like the bags under his eyes. He wore a oversized grey hoodie, that he wasn't at all sure where it had came from. It had a stain of some sort of food on it, which he found ironic considering he didn't eat all that often.

He lifted his hoodie, and stared back at his stomach in the mirror. He noticed he was just a little bit bigger than before. He let go, letting the hoodie fall back into place. He was angry at himself, even though he wasn't eating at all during the day, the little bit he did eat caused him to gain weight that he found unnecessary and disgusting.

He left the bathroom disappointed in himself and found himself back on his couch. He opened his phone, having nothing else to do, and clicked on his gallery by instinct. He knew it was wrong, but he still found himself staring at a certain folder, his thumb hovering over it.

He opened it.

Immense memories flood his brain as he stared at a boy with long beautiful hair. There was a particular picture that caught his eye. It's was Hyunjin sitting across a table, wearing a blue button up, and a pair of blue jeans. He was mid-laugh, his eyes scrunching up until they weren't seen. Felix found this picture to be one of his favorites. It showed an honest and ethereal side of Hyunjin. Felix didn't know if he even actually dated the boy, it all felt like one big dream, or a fantasy he had made up for himself.

Hyunjin was just too perfect to be real.

Felix turned his phone off, and curled his knees up to his chest. His eyes glossing over, but he quickly blinked them away and closed his eyes. He let his thoughts eat him from the inside out until he eventually drifted off to sleep. The sun was setting, but still shinning into the windows, that we're basically his whole apartment walls.

It overlooked the whole city, it was truly beautiful when you took the time to appreciate it. Something Felix didn't do anymore. It reminded him that Hyunjin was out there somewhere, somewhere far off into the distance; unobtainable.
