  Dream sat looking down at the pain he had caused himself from last night. He probably should be freaking out and trying to think of how to keep it hidden, but he didn't. Dream's mind was so overwhelmed with what had happened last night. Dream was scared his mom would call him out of nowhere yelling at him to not put stress on poor nick.

The blonde picks up his phone and sees the notification from last night. 3 new messages from Sapnap 🐼, 4 new messages from Karl💋 and 1 new message from Quackity🦆 however there was zero from George.

Clay and George haven't talked since he posted that Instagram post. Dream knew that Nick and George would at some point find a significant other but this quick? Dream should be infuriated that George isn't here while the American is losing himself. However, clay really can't blame George and sapnap. Taking care of someone mentally ill is exhausting. Dream knows from experience.

The blonde feels bad for putting stress on Sapnap at such a horrible time. Nick should be visiting Karl and Quackity instead of babysitting Dream. Although that is how Nick is, sap has always had the biggest heart in the friend group. Nick will always put Dream, Karl, Q, and George before himself. Dream knows the feeling of watching someone destroy themselves and having to keep it a secret.

- Flashback -
Clay remembers the first sign she showed.

" Hey ___ can we go on a walk?" The younger dream had said while standing outside the door.

"No, I'm sleeping." She replied. Dream had picked up the upset-sounding voice. He has seen her upset but why does it sound like he's talking to a wall? This isn't her. Maybe a walk will help?

"Please! I wanna go on a walk." Clay said in a whiny voice. She's been in her room since they got back from a relative.

"I'm sorry dream. I should've protected you." She says in a tired voice. Young clay wonders what she meant. Protected him from what?

"Hey dream," someone says knocking at the door. Dream scurries over to open the door praying it's not his best friend. The blonde doesn't want to have another conversation that ends with both of them yelling at each other. Of course, when he opens the door it's the one and only Sap standing awkwardly.

"I'm sorry clay. I know you're hurting and I've been so occupied with streaming that I haven't been with you much. But, since George is coming I hope it can go back to normal?" Dreams best friend says. Wait... George is coming? When was this decided? He didn't tell me? All these thoughts rushed in at once. Confusion clear on my face.

"Oh did he not call you last night? I thought he did.. um surprise ig?" Sapnap says awkwardly then he turns around and leaves after standing there for a minute or two.

How could he not tell me? Wait that means he's going to have to face reveal to George soon. Even worse he's going to have to face reveal to the internet. This is the worst he's felt in years and of course, it's happening now. The audacity George has for not even mentioning that he thought the visa may come in soon.
