The Music Festival, Part Two

Y/N's POV

Teacher: "so, I'm assuming you're gonna join the festival, Mr L/N?"

"Yep."

Teacher: "great! I'll inform the school staff later, but now, pull out your textbooks and turn to page..."

And so, class went on like normal, only this time, instead of the usual feeling of Celeste watching me, I felt someone else...why does this happen to me...?

Time passed, and lunch time arrived, so I picked up my things, and began to walk over to the cafeteria.

Junko: "hey, Y/N!"

"Hm?"

Junko: "how do you feel about the beach?"

"...why do you ask?"

Junko: "just curious."

"Well...I don't really like it. The sand is annoying to deal with, the sun burns my skin, and worst of all...I don't know how to swim."

Hina: "WHAT?!"

Hina grabbed me by my shoulders, and began to shake me.

Hina: "HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO SWIM?!"

"I-I just don't...!"

Hina: "WHY?!!!"

"I-I was too busy to learn...!"

Hina: "That's it, from this point onwards, I'm teaching you how to swim!"

"Seriously...? I still have to teach Hajime how to play, and I have to find a song to play for the festival..."

Hina: "I don't care! I'm teaching you how to swim, and that's final!"

"Sigh...fine..."

And then, I saw Toko walk past me, still covered in minor bruises...

"...hold on, guys."

I walked faster, and grabbed Toko's hand.

Toko: "h-hey! Wh-what are you doing?!"

"No time to explain."

And with that, I dragged her to a secluded spot of the school so we could talk about what happened.

Once I knew both of us were alone, I let go of her.

Toko: "wh-what is the meaning of this?! Why did you drag me here?! You...you're not gonna hurt me, are you?!"

"Hell no! I just wanna talk!"

Toko: "t-talk about what?"

"About Genocide Jack."

Toko: "...wh-what about them?"

"I know it's you, Toko."

Toko: "h-how could y-yo-"

"I fought Jack, Toko."

Toko: "...y-you did?"

"Yeah."

Toko: "...th-that explains the injuries...b-but how are you here? She's known for k-killing guys, you know?"

"I was faster than her, as well as stronger."

Toko: "...g-guess that makes sense."

"Leaving that aside, are you doing alright?"

Toko: "...wh-why do you care?"

"Well, it's just that, since you and Genocide Jack share the same body, I thought that it was unfair for you to have to suffer through what happened..."
