Y/N's POV
As Junko, Mukuro and I walked back home, I felt a tap on my shoulder, so I turned my face to see who was calling me.
"What's up, Jun?"
Junko: "I was wondering...what are those songs you played about?"
"You mean Big Iron and The Ballad of The Alamo?"
Junko: "yeah, those!"
"Hm...which one do you want me to explain first?"
Junko: "the Alamo one, it sounds interesting."
"Hm...well...that one is based on true events."
Mukuro: "it is?"
"Yep. The Ballad of The Alamo is a song about the events that occurred in The Alamo fortress in Texas back in the year of 1836."
Junko: "and those events are?"
"Well, it was a shootout between a man named Santa Anna and 5,000 man army versus Colonel Travis and his 185 men."
Junko: "185 against 5,000...that's...that's suicide!"
"Yep, and they knew that, too. Which is why Colonel Travis gave his men the chance to leave, to live out their lives with their families...but none left. They all stayed, and fought until their last breath was taken."
Mukuro: "wow...how long did the shootout last? It couldn't have been long..."
"That's where you're wrong, Mukkie. It's said that it lasted 13 days."
Junko: "13 days..."
"Yep. After the battle was done, a lot of Texans joined the army, looking for revenge after what Santa Anna had done."
Junko: "did they win?"
"Yeah. Texas left Mexico, and it became the Republic of Texas. Then, after years passed, Texas joined the U.S, and the rest is history."
Mukuro: "huh...that's interesting."
"Right?"
Junko: "but anyway, what about the other one?"
"Ah, well...Big Iron is about a man...or, rather, an Arizona Ranger, that comes into the town of Agua Fria, looking for an outlaw named Texas Red. He goes around the town, telling people that he was looking for Texas Red. Texas Red hears about this, and gets cocky, since he has killed 20 other men that have come for him before. Eventually, both of them met on the street, and got into a duel. We're talking wild west style duels, standing on opposite sides, guns ready to fire."
Junko: "and lemme guess, the Ranger won?"
"Yep. It's a good song, and one of my personal favorites."
Mukuro: "is that one also based on real events?"
"Honestly? I'm not sure. I'd have to investigate. I'd ask Marty himself, but...he's not with us anymore."
Junko: "oh..."
"But man...that fight with Ibuki sure was something, huh?"
Mukuro: "for sure. Especially that song you played at the end."
"Oh, you mean Through the Fire and the Flames? Yeah, it's a pretty good song, but it's tough to play it."
Mukuro: "I could tell. You were struggling a little."
"Yeah, but luckily, I managed to play it completely without any major mess ups, but...yawn...I'm tired."
Junko: "yeah, me too..."
