agápe.
the altruistic love, the love for people.
do i feel that way ? do i feel that way for you ? agápe is mostly the word that we would describe as empathy nowadays, empathy towards humanity. i think that it is the purest form of love that could be out there. and i also think that it has been long lost since the greeks invented it, because the world as they knew it is long gone.
it must be incredible, a love that is so deep and so pure, just feeling sympathy for everybody around you. being able to care for the person next to you without trouble. i wish that i could feel this way, that the world could feel this way.
but i think that there still are some good people, some people that naturally feel agápe towards people and that still believe in humanity. does agápe can be a form of love between two people ? do i still believe in us ? or did i lost faith like i did in humanity a long time ago ?
can we repair what you've been breaking all over again ? can i forget the hell that you made me go through so i could be there in the end ? wondering the way i love you ? if i really love you ?
