Chapter Twelve

Mina was furious on the inside as she paced back and forth after Taehyung took Ami to the infirmary. She couldn't believe Serena would do something like that but at the same time she did. That girl was absolutely vile but Mina had to stop herself from thinking such thoughts. She wasn't going to stoop that low. She was so lost in thought that she didn't realize Yoongi was trying to get her attention until he was gently gripping her by her shoulders.

"Mina. Hey, are you okay? Ami is going to be fine, you know that." Yoongi said softly as he looked down at her. He could tell she was stressed no matter how hard she was trying to hide it.

"I-I'm fine. I know she's in good hands but Serena could have seriously hurt her and I don't know what I would do if anything happened to Ami." Mina whispered out, doing her best not to cry as she blinked back tears.

Yoongi frowned at that. He didn't like seeing Mina like this. It was so rare for her to show this kind of side. She was always smiling and laughing and just genuinely happy no matter what. He didn't like seeing her sad and he was sure Ami would agree with him if she saw her best friend right now.

"Nothing will happen to Ami. Taehyung, as well as the rest of us, will make sure of that. Serena is only acting this way to get to me. She's been obsessed with me since the first year. We didn't even really date. She was just too much and she was also trying to sleep with the rest of my friends as well." Yoongi sighed out before shaking his head.

Mina didn't know if this was meant to cheer her up or not but knowing that Yoongi and the others would protect them was nice to know. She couldn't help but smile a little at that. I guess that's all Yoongi wanted to see because soon he was cupping her cheeks and closing the gap between them as he kissed her lips.

It didn't last long and before Mina could even process what had just happened, Yoongi was already pulling back, a small smirk on his lips as he caressed her cheek with his thumb.

"There we go. Much better. As much as I love hearing your laughter the most, your smile is my second favorite thing." Yoongi whispered out as he felt his cheeks start to heat up.

Mina didn't know she was smiling and it only grew wider as his words settled into her brain, clearing up the haze that had settled from the kiss. Yoongi was indeed something else.

"Now let's get out of here and wait for Taehyung and Ami in the courtyard, yeah? The others should be there as well. We can fill them in on what happened too if you want." Yoongi said before letting his hands fall to his sides as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. Mina just nodded her head.

It didn't take long until Mina and Yoongi got to the clock tower courtyard, immediately spotting the rest of the gang. Some were sitting on the fountain and others stood around as they made their way over to them.

"Hey Mina! How's it going? Where's Ami at?" Hoseok asked cheerfully as the two of them sat down on the fountain's edge. Mina looked over at Yoongi for a minute before looking down at her lap as she fidgeted with her fingers.

"Taehyung took Ami to the infirmary. Serena injured her hand really bad." Yoongi said as he started to go into detail about everything that happened. He could see Mina tensing up after every word so he placed his on top of hers and squeezed them gently before lacing their fingers together.

"What the fuck? Are you serious?!" Jungkook said a little too loud, earning glances from other people before he ducked his head down to hide behind the others.

"That's taking it way too far. Even for her. We need to bring this to the Head Master so she can be dealt with. I knew she was crazy but I didn't think she would stoop this low." Jin sighed out as he shook his head.
