Autobot Outpost Omega One, Nevada, Earth...

Present days...

A GroundBridge flew in the Autobots' base as Team Prime entered, injured and exhausted. Ratchet looked at them in surprise, a hint of worry on his face.

"Optimus! What in the name of Primus happened?!"

"Oh!" Wheeljack, "It's kinda complicated but also, er, kinda simple."

Wheeljack took upon himself to resume how they killed three vehicons and subsequently met Spectra ("A tough one," commented Ultra Magnus) whose best friend was Tarn, as they had learned. He told Ratchet how Spectra defeated them easily with an intangibility device ("Wow, cool!" Miko, impressed), before talking about the appearance of Megatron and the Decepticons and how they were about to kill him and Team Prime, but that's when a giant purplish GroundBridge-like portal saved them. He told about the Decepticon ("or at least it looked like one" he added) exactly like Tarn but without any pupil, and how lots of Decepticons like him appeared ("I call them Other ones" fills in Wheeljack), proclaiming that the mine they were in belonged to their 'Supreme Lord Megatron'.

"What?" Ratchet reacted.

"Yep," Wheeljack continued, "And we fled after they and the Decepticons started shooting each other, and that's where you saved us."

Ratchet went to the computer systems, likely to make a search about what Wheeljack just said.

"You said that GroundBridge where the Tarn-like Decepticons were was giant and purple?" he waited for confirmation from Wheeljack.

"Yep," was the answer, "Why?"

His question is ignored while Ratchet through the computer system, after which he turns towards the Autobots.

"That 'GroundBridge' you mentioned can only be an—"

All at once, the lights turned to red and a deafening alarm resonated in the room. The computer system opened a window that shows what looks like a fighter jet heading toward the Autobots' base.

"That's Agent Fowler," pointed out Ultra Magnus.

"At the speed he's heading toward us, he must bring interesting news," Bulkhead added.

A moment later, the base's elevator descended and Agent Fowler arrived, looking hurried.

"Prime! There's something me and your Autobots must talk about right now!" .

Optimus straightened up at the irruption,"What happened, Agent Fowler?"

"I have one bad new and one good new."

"Start with the bad one," Bulkhead said, "I prefer to hear the bad news before hearing the good ones," he explained at his companions' glances

"Doesn't matter," Agent Fowler spoke, "Because this time, the bad new comes first. Well, the bad news is that a Decepticon came from the sky and crashed 2 kilometers away from the Pentagon."

Everyone present in the room jumped at that,"What?!" Optimus merely looked surprised, which only helped to further the panic of some.

"Yes. That's it," Fowler nodded furiously, "And there were damages... and victims..." he trailed off. Everyone is staring at him, speechless."But the good new," he continues, "is that it was minimal. The worst thing he could do would be to wreak havoc through the city! But he escaped before he could do that. I recorded the attack in a camera, which I later transferred into this USB key."

Fowler moved to give Raf a gray and black USB key. Raf put the key on his computer, connecting it to the base's computer system. At first the screen was all black before showing through a window something on fire ("An escape pod," was Ratchet's input). A metallic, strong noise was  heard as a big door-like metal object was ejected from the pod. A big shadowy figure with red optics emerged, looking around itself ("That's the Decepticon."), zeroing in on some helicopters. Scanning one of them, the figure changed its physical appearance. The camera's angle changes, now pointing at the sky where 7 helicopters flew towards the Decepticon and surrounded him, The camera catches several FBI police agents and military soldiers that were doing the same on the ground. The Decepticon walked off the capsule, finally showing itself, and when he spoke, his voice is powerful enough to be picked up by the recorder.

"Is that all humans have? Doesn't impress Grindor."

He quickly took a helicopter by the tail rotor and smashes it onto the ground, causing the helicopter to explode and kill its passengers and pilots ("Solus Prime..." murmured Arcee, horrified). The soldiers and FBI agents shot at the self-named Grindor, but nothing seemed to hurt him. Instead of reacting he stared directly at the camera("He was specifically looking at me," Fowler shivered). Grindor didn't move for a while, his stare unwavering, before transforming into a helicopter and flying away, making Fowler stop the recording soon after his departure

"That's all I could record," Fowler sighed, "And unfortunately, he escaped us."

"That..." Arcee's voice sounded strangled, "Was horrible... How could he?"

Fowler threw a glance at Team Prime,"I thought you knew what the Decepticons were capable of,"

"We thought we did," Ratchet snapped back, "But no Decepticon we knew, not even Megatron, had ever killed humans before. And we clearly didn't know about this Decepticon! Nor what he was capable of!"

"Well you better get more serious from now!" Fowler's voice got even louder, "I can't let more people die by any other robots like you! Next time a Decepticon lands in a city, you better act quickly before it can do any damage! Even if it means showing yourself to people! Or do you only care about yourselves? Because I care about the people we're trying to protect!

After that, Fowler went back to the elevator. Before the gates were about to close, he spoke more calmly, "Listen. I know that I was more angry than usual, but I can't let this happen anymore. Here's my question : Are you willing to protect Humanity, or only yourselves?"

The elevator doors closed on those parting words. Team Prime stood quiet, shocked and at a loss about what to do.
