Infiltration

The Nemesis, night time...

After the surprising episode of Tarn's corpse, everything aboard the Nemesis returns to its usual atmosphere, with vehicons usually patrolling the hallways. And in one hallway, three vehicons were talking:

"How do you think Tarn's corpse survived almost entirely the missile?" One of them says,

"Don't know," The second one says, "probably pure luck. But the other bodies really didn't get that same chance."

"I don't think it was luck," The third says, "Tarn was probably in a place where the missile's damage was minimal. And speaking of bodies, do you have any ideas about what happened to the Mini-Con medic of the DJD? The squadron said that they didn't find her anywhere."

"Nickel, you mean?"The second one says , "Well, if you want my opinion. She probably survived the missile and ran somewhere."

While they are talking, they don't notice a little Cybertronian who infiltrated the Decepticon ship. Spectra runs hallway after hallway until arriving at one of the ship's laboratories' doors. She uses her intangibility device to pass through the door and puts herself against the wall as she sees Shockwave repairing Tarn's corpse, already about to finish.

"Tarn...," she whispers.

She looks at the laboratory's furniture, on which lies a green glowing shard of Energon being scanned by a little machine, recognizing it as hers. She walks silently towards the furniture, but accidentally makes a tool fall to the floor when she tries to reach the green Energon with her hand, drawing Shockwave's attention. But as the latter looks back, he only sees the tool on the floor.

"Weird," he shrugs it off.

He goes on repairing Tarn's shell. Spectra, who is now hidden behind the furniture, takes this opportunity to grab her green shard of Energon out of the scanning machine. She goes prudently back toward the door but notices that the noise Shockwave usually makes when repairing something has stopped. She turns around to check out the reason, but there is no Shockwave to be seen.

"Where did he-?" she starts.

"Going somewhere?" Shockwave's voice resonates behind her.

Spectra quickly turns back as Shockwave is about to strike her. But she activates her intangibility device and Shockwave's fist passes right through her.

"What the-?"

Spectra deactivates her device and kicks Shockwave's head as he falls to the floor, knocked out. Knockings are heard at the laboratory's door, Starscream's voice getting through the panel.

"Shockwave? Are you done repairing Tarn?" he pauses, "Are you even in here? I don't hear anything."

Spectra uses her intangibility device to go through one of the laboratory's walls. She is in a hallway, and starts to move, hugging the walls in order to avoid being seen by a patrol and alarming the crew of the Nemesis. hears multiple hurried footsteps, some of them getting closer to the hallway she was in. She moved to a shadowed part of the wall. She sees multiple vehicons, blasters ,running across the hallway. Once the vehicons run past her hiding spot, Spectra sees a big roof trapdoor and takes that opportunity to escape to the ship's roof. But as soon as she walks to the trapdoor, a purple blast goes right next to her and explodes on the hallway's floor.

"Well, hello again. Are you lost or something?" she hears a familiar voice behind her.

Spectra looks in the direction of the voice and sure enough, Megatron is pointing his cannon at her.

"I believe that this green energon shard belongs to me," he sounds like he's pouting,"It was really unwise of you to infiltrate my ship like that "Give it to me, or don't, you shall die either way ."

"I'm sorry, Megatron," , "But I am the owner of this shard. You shouldn't have taken it from me."

Megatron still sounds amused, clearly not taking her seriously, "Why's that?"

"Because I will always take it back"

Bored by the unoriginal answer, Megatron shoots at Spectra, but she avoids it. Megatron shoots again multiple times, but doesn't seem to be able to hit Spectra even once.

"Bye, bye," she calls back before jumping over the trapdoor .

Megatron stands quiet, angry that Spectra got away with the green energon. He soon calms down though.

"Shockwave!" he shouts. He arrived behind Megatron.

"Yes, Lord Megatron?"

"Is Tarn ready?"

As soon as he says it, slow, heavy steps are heard and purple glowing eyes appear in the darkness of the hallway.

"Good..." Megatron straightens up, "I have a mission for you, Tarn. Are you ready?"

"Yes, Lord Megatron."
