After escaping from the Nemesis, Spectra quickly runs inside one of the mountain's tunnels, which reminds her of the tunnel where the Other ones had appeared. She slows her pace down to a walk, calming her breathing as she goes through the tunnel, sure that the Decepticons will not find her for a long while. After a while, she hears multiple quick footsteps and a voice yelling "Over here! This way!". Recognizing it as a possible vehicon patrol, Spectra passes through one of the tunnel's walls with the intangibility device and lands in a parallel tunnel. She resumes her walk until she gets to an out, finally in the open air.

"Oof," she sighs, "At least I'm safe."

She looks at her green shard of Energon, and at the tunnel she just left.

"I'll go back for you, Tarn," she promises

A loud noise makes her jump, as if someone was destroying one of Nevada's big rocks. She approaches in silence where the noise comes from, only to see Grindor rubbing his hands while looking at a destroyed rock.

"Now that satisfies Grindor," he sound satisfied with himself.

"Not him again," Spectra whispers to herself.

Grindor was Spectra's arch-nemesis. The two of them met each other for the first time when Spectra discovered the place where she took the green shard of energon. Grindor revealed to Spectra that he ate her parent's corpses after Megatron killed them. Spectra, angry, wanted to kill Grindor, but she was no match for him, so she fled.

Grindor looks right at Spectra, who hides too late, behind a giant rock.

Grindor walks towards the rock and destroys it.

"There you are," he says to Spectra.

Grindor sees the green Energon shard and gets ready to take it, but his attention turns to a groundBridge that appears near him.

"What?"

From the groundBridge emerges Team Prime, all with a serious look.

Grindor starts to mock them, "Well, if it isn't the usual Autobot team," he laughs, but notices the presence of Wheeljack, Smokescreen and Ultra Magnus, "And with a little expansion added! Ha-ha!"

"Hope you enjoyed what you were doing." Arcee says as she activates her arm blades, "Because they're probably going to be your last actions."

"Ha!" Grindor snickers again, "You think you with your little expansion can beat Grindor? He has survived worse."

"Well," picks up Wheeljack, "get ready because we are going to be even worse."

"Well, Grindor's interest isn't towards you, but towards that," Grindor replies as he points at Spectra's Energon.

"You again?" groans Ultra Magnus.

"Yes, me again," snaps Spectra, "And I am in a place where I shouldn't be."

"Well, if you'll excuse Grindor," the cybertronian moves towards Spectra, "he's going to take that from you."

She tries to run away, but Grindor shoots a little device from a little weapon on his arm. The shot lands in front of her and turns into a giant red energy dome that imprisons not only Spectra but also Grindor, the Autobots and the groundBridge.

"Nowhere to go now. And don't bother with your intangibility device. It won't work."

But a blast lands on Grindor's back. He turns back to see that it is Bulkhead who did the shot.

"We're still here, donkey!".

Grindor stands. The rotor on his back spins before Grindor takes it and launches it at Team Prime, who scatters to avoid it. The rotor returns to Grindor's back as if it is some sort of boomerang. The fight that continues is very interesting: Even if Team Prime outnumbers Grindor, the latter is gaining the advantage in the fight due to his strength and durability. Spectra tries during the fight to find a way out, but she couldn't find one because of the dome. But she spots an underground hole that passes under the dome. Grindor spots her at the same time she tries to escape through the hole.

"No you don't," he grunts.

He shoots a missile that touches and destroys the hole at the same time it pushes Spectra away and knocks her out. After that, Grindor receives a foot kick from Arcee, though he didn't feel anything.

"Why? Can't? You? Die?!" Arcee fumes.

"Grindor is not phased by these feather-like prods you call fighting, you foolish Autobot," He says impassively.

Pushing Arcee away, Grindor grabs a huge rock and launches it at Team Prime, pushing them back into the groundBridge which closes right after

"And now..." Grindor smirks as he walks toward an unconscious Spectra, "You are next."

But as he steps closer to her, the ground under them shakes and the ground under Spectra starts to fall apart taking her down with it.

"No!" Grindor roars as he sees Spectra falling down into the unknown.
