Fireworks burst across the sky, entrancing the Evil twin. Beautiful blues and reds, yellows and greens painted the inky canvas of night. Enamoured by the sparkling lights, Eva failed to notice the man watching her with an affectionate smile. Twinkles glittered in her dark blue eyes as she glanced up at the moon. Music pumped from the speakers on the dance floor, vibrating through the soles of their shoes. Auradon Prep was aglow with lights and cheer. Eva stared at it all in awe. This was her home. Tracing the lip of her glass, Eva watched contently as her friends enjoyed themselves, carefree for the first time in years.

Evie was dancing with Doug, laughing as he spun her around the dance floor. His eyes contained nothing but pure adoration as he looked at her. Mal and Ben were dancing close together, whispering sweet words to each other. Joy sparkled in Mal's eyes as she stared at her King. The rest of the world didn't exist to the happy couple. Carlos attempted to strike up a conversation with Jane but kept stuttering awkwardly before flushing red. Catching Eva's eyes, the crimson colour of his cheeks darkened when she winked at him, encouraging him to try harder. Surrounded by multiple women, Jay was charming every single one of them. Her family was happy, which meant so much to Eva.

Whilst content with the life ahead of her, one small thing held the young woman back from being entirely happy. Refusing to hand the wand over to Maleficent on live television meant those on the Isle had witnessed the turn of morality experienced by the VKs. All the villains, particularly their parents, would know the VKs no longer followed the mantra 'Long Live Evil'. In some twisted turn of events, they had morphed into good citizens of Auradon. It would never be safe for them to return home after this. Heart aching at the prospect of never seeing Harry again (or him being disgusted at the girl she was becoming), she resolved to get over feelings for the pirate.

"It's not going to disappear. You can blink at least once." Parker spoke up, deciding to alert her to his presence.

Trying not to flinch as she was pulled from her thoughts, Eva turned away from the castle and her friends to look at the mischievous boy. An open tan palm was held out to her and her eyes followed up it to a pair of glittering green eyes.

"May I have this dance, Milady?" Parker grinned, white teeth flashing.

"If you must, M'Lord," she smiled back, graciously accepting his hand.

Twirling her onto the dance floor, Parker placed one hand on the small of her back and his other clasped her own as they swayed in time to the music. Dressed in a suit of dark green hue, Parker looked fairly dashing under the shimmering lights. Most girls would be desperate for a chance to dance with Peter Pan's son but, prior to the arrival of the VKs, he kept to himself for the most part. Pan hadn't been joking when he said it was nice to see his son with a friend. Eva was the first one Parker had introduced. Tipping her head back to look up at her friend, Eva blushed when she found he was already gazing down at her.
