Carl's POV:
It has only been a few hours since Tyreese has passed away, and the night was falling upon us. I sit here in the hallway reminiscing and thinking, trying to understand her. Why? Why does that happen? Why am I even worried about her? Lindsey's just a girl who all she has done since she's got here is bitch!
Time ticks, the dim light from the candle continues to flicker in the dark hallway of the Inn, and I haven't gotten my thoughts clear. Suddenly I hear a creak from a room door and to my surprise Lindsey comes and steps out. "Hey shaggy." She whispers as she tip toes to sit beside me.
"What, is that a nickname now?" I scoff. I don't mean to sound rude but I've been the good guy long enough. "Look, about this morning..." She says pausing. "Don't apologize." I say sternly,
"You won't ever need to apologize to me ." She bats her eyes in confusion, "What do you mean?" She says.
"Dad told me to make friends with you. So I tried, but you just keep pushing it away. I won't be there to help you no more, help yourself." I whisper, "As a matter of fact, I see you had no trouble making friends with Noah. Talk to him." That fed me up the most. How she easily just walks out on me and opens her arms out to a total stranger after I saved her life.
"Hold on do you think I don't trust you?" She asks. Now I was furious, "I just think you don't like me." I snap. "How can I hate you? We just met!" She whispers back. "Exactly, you just met me. So I suggest you stop being an asshole. Goodnight!" I stand up and leave into my room.
I've had just about enough of being the nice guy. I plop onto my bed not realizing my dad was asleep. "Carl? What're you?" My dad groans. "Sorry dad I just uh.... Got up to use the restroom" I respond. He moves around a bit before he's sound asleep again.
As I kick my shoes off and undress I began to feel some guilt. With only my pants on I slowly open the door, seeing if she had gone to bed. She's still sitting there head to her knees. "Hey!" I whisper catching her attention, "Turn off the candle when you leave. Need to save the thread until Glenn sees if he can fix the circuit"
She nods and I close the door. It wasn't much until I realized she must've seen me shirtless. I crawl back to bed in the darkness and my eye lids close making everything go pitch black.
When morning hit, I woke up to the sound of Judith crying and loud screams from outside the Inn. I quickly try to hush Judith by snuggling her before I pick up a Pistol and run outside, aiming at anything that's a threat. "WHERE IS SHE!?!" I see Henry shouting at Michonne.
Putting my grip down I run towards the scenario. "I don't know! After we came back she was with you!" Michonne argues back. "I don't understand. I sent her back to feed her baby sister. She never stepped out, I fell asleep and she was there." Henry claimed.
Everyone was standing around us. "Would you like us to look for her?" Abraham asked sternly. "IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION!?" Henry shouts. I hear footsteps behind me so I turn around only to see Noah. I wanted to yell so badly. Scream and shout at him, I felt like he was to blame.
"DO SOMETHING!!" Henry's voice begins to crack. It was only a few seconds before Noah realized what was going on. He takes a few steps back before he dashes into the woods. "Noah!!" Glenn shouts. He tried to run after him but he was long gone.
"Stop!" My dad yells. "We'll find her! Everyone just stay put! It's not safe out there! Tyreese just died by people we have no clue on what they're up to! Do you want to DIE!?" He raises his voice. "But what about Noah?" Sasha exclaims. "What about MY DAUGHTER!?" Henry smothers dad.
"We'll go after the sun comes up more!" My dad says. "It will be too late!" Henry yells getting closer to him. "THESE ARE MY RULES, MY GROUP! YOU DO AS I SAY!!" My dad demanded. It seemed to have calmed Henry and everyone else.
