A few hour later, after everything was planned, everyone was slipping on their quantum suits, Amanda included. Of course, she was given a long talk about how she had to be very careful.

Amanda had taken a moment to be with just her parents, nervous for whatever outcome was to happen.

"M, seriously, relax." Steve told his daughter, giving her a hug, "if anything, we should be worried about you. Your famous for always getting hurt during a mission."

Natasha agreed. "And if something were to happen to either of us, you know we'd only let it happen if it meant keeping you safe."

"But-"

"No buts, Amanda." Steve said, "your mothers right, if we had to chose between us and you, your our number one."

Amanda frowned, "please be careful.. I need you guys." She begged.

"You need to be careful too, Mandy." Steve said, "I can't lose you."

The small family braced each other into a hug, enjoying what could be their last moment together.

"I need to do something before we do this." Amanda said, leaving the room.

She forced herself to the area where Tony would be, knowing he was going to be alone. Amanda wanted to talk to him, knowing this could be it for any one on the team.

Knocking on the door, Amanda watched Tony turn around. He was surprised to see her standing there, especially by herself.

"Amanda?"

"Can I uh- can we talk?" She asked, walking in and shutting the door behind her.

Tony nodded nervously, knowing this could go many ways.

"I just need to know." Amanda said, "I need to know why you did it."

Tony frowned. "I was so angry at your father and your uncle for lying about my parents death.. I couldn't control my anger." He said, "trix, I've regretted that moment since the second it happened. I regret lying to Peter about it, I regret causing you all of this pain, and I regret causing you to run."

Amanda nodded. "I'm sorry too." She said.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, trix. That night, it was all me." Tony said. "I'm sorry, and I don't think I ever won't be sorry."

"I know." Amanda smirked. "I just wanted to hear you say it." She said, walking over to Tony and reluctantly giving him a hug, "just know that I don't know when I'll be ready to forgive you, or if I ever will. But I'm happy we are getting closer to normalcy again."

"Me too trix." Tony said, relaxing as he returned the hug. "Me too."

Not too long after, everyone gathered on the platform. There were going to be three teams, one going to New York, one going to vormir, and one going to morag.

"Five years ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends... We lost family... We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams, you know your missions. Get the stones, get them back. One round trip each. No mistakes. No do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. But it doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives. And we're gonna win." Steve said, gloving everyone a glance, "whatever it takes."

"He's pretty good at that." Rocket said.

Amanda sighed. "Expect when it's during an argument and he says some bullshit like that." She whispered to the raccoon.

"Language."

"Oh my god." She groaned.

"Strike those keys, jolly green." Tony said to Bruce after everyone was sure that they were prepared to leave.
