Narrators point of view

In the boys changing room

Steve was having a proper meltdown, right now his step coach was acting like a troll and hunting like a troll the only problem was he was hunting them thinking that they were cats because Toby was trying to convince Mr Strickler that his cat accidentally drank the graves sand instead of the teachers

Mr Strickler over the phone: I would recommend putting the cat down it's the only merciful thing to do... but I sense that's not exactly the answer you're looking for so I would suggest that Toby makes a emotional bond with the animal that should be able to break through his delusions and bring him back to normal before the transformation becomes permanent

Steve whispers in panic: permanent!

Jim: it's okay calm down we'll figure this out, we're in this-

Jim however was interrupted by Toby who was pointing at his best friend because his best friend started growing up like a Christmas tree but not in the usual troll hunter fashion

Toby: Jim! Why are you growing up like the 4th of July?!

Jimmy who couldn't see any of this began flexing his fingers as they started to go numb he couldn't understand what was going on and he felt weird but not Bad way but not in a good way either it wasn't long before gym completely vanished from the other teams site in a flash of light which alerted to the Coach to the location of the teenagers bolted out of the changing room and barricaded the door with their bodies

Eli: what just happened what happened to Jim?!

Toby equally confused and scared: I don't know that hasn't happened before I just hope he's okay

Tobys worries we are warranted after witnessing his friend just vanish into thin air but he need not worry Jim was on a journey across the Multiverse he was going to meet two other versions of himself and one of them desperately needed his help

Steve: okay so what do we do now with Coach now that lake has done a hocus-pocus?

Toby bucking up and taking command: okay Jane would want to cover all bases... So that means that if Coach has turned into a troll that means the other teachers probably have as well so Steve you deal with Coach Eli you've got Miss Janice and that leaves me with oh god señor. No time to complain Toby times take control okay everyone you know your assignments let's get this going

The troll hunter that was left and the two creep slayers separated to try and get their regular boring teachers back, little did they know that Mr Strickler decided to pay the school a visit and was now on a caffeine fix

A few moments later Jim reappeared in the boys locker room a little worn out and was now wearing his armour which still had claw marks from his battle with the lizard

Jim: well that was surreal hopefully at least I can get a bit rest

The troll hunter however spoke too soon because then an angry Strickler came over The speakers: you've been a bad student Mr Lake, when students misbehave it is up to the teachers to educate them to be better

Jim rolled his eyes: sounds like he got a caffeine fix oh well no rest for the wicked

Back with Toby and the others Eli had succeeded in reconnecting with Miss Janice Steve and Toby however we're having more trouble

If everything was settled Toby asked the big question: Jimbo! What happened you just lit up and then disappeared!

Jim: oh Toby let me tell you a tale, but just a heads up after everything we've been through I think this is the one story you're not gonna believe
