Things have gotten from bad to worse, it's been weeks since gunmar New army took over troll market and he's been sending up Night Creatures as scouts or find us. Which is a huge problem since we've got to hide our location and we've also Gotta make sure that no one in the town sees these horrible creatures of death

The good side of it because they give off a very unique sense of smell I'm able to track some of them easily the bad side of it is some of them can fly and we have to leave that to my girlfriend and her brother leaving me and the others fighting on the ground

We set out in Two teams of two hunting down the Night Creatures at every turn during the night the good news is that we have a sort of deterrent to heard in the night creatures to keep them away from prying eyes the bad news is it's just like an animal snarling when it's injured it can't really do anything but it scares them a bit. We are just lucky that Reese creatures as dumb as a bag of rocks

Speaking of which me and Claire are chasing one of creatures through a small cul-de-sac luckily for us it can't fly but it's really fast, I hear it turn around the corner: it's turned around the corner and we can't lose it it's in our location!

Claire pulling out a shadow staff which I strongly was against she's been acting weird ever since she used to make that massive portal, when I say acting weird it's more like a cold and spacing out a lot but it still has me concerned

Claire: it's okay I'll teleport in front of him and will box that thing in!

I tried to stop her but She teleport but from what I'm hearing and listen screaming from above me I'm guessing she did not get to her location. I think she was screaming above me I've come out my hands and I catch her before she could be seriously hurt

I can feel her heart beating a bit faster than usual and I think it's to do with the fact that she's a bit embarrassed, Not to mention it's still kinda awkward between us but now it's not the time to think about that I didn't have time to put it down so I carried her in my arms as we caught up to the night creature who was already dead thanks to z Who had took her bodyguarding Job seriously. as a matter of fact Claire made a few complaints about how she was following her around constantly

I can't believe that I've come to this point in my life or I'm going to say yes to doing something like that: yeah sure just try to not make so much of a mess and use that special liquid to disintegrate the body after you're done

While the alien predator was removing a trophy from the dead body I put Claire down: Claire you need to be careful your staff has been acting weird ever since that giant portal, maybe you should take a break for a while

Claire did not like that idea: no I'm fine no one has to pull my weight we need all hands on deck you said it yourself

I really hate it when people throw my own words back at me, despite the awkwardness between us I still really care about Claire and her well-being: this is a okay fine but it's almost midnight you should go now get some rest I mean it Claire. I don't need eyes to tell me that you're not well go home get some hours rest and we'll talk in the morning

My friend wanted to protest but her coughing and sneezing were getting worse so she gradually agreed and of course her annoying bodyguard Z followed her to her home.
