"what's a fine boy like you doing all wet in the rain" I hear a voice say next to me. I turn and see a pink haired petite girl holding a transparent umbrella which she hands to me.
"Nah I'm cool" I decline her offer and look straight ahead
I was warned about strangers like this
"Take it" she persists.
"It's just a light drizzle I think I'm fine"
She comes closer to me then I get scared. She raises the umbrella and tries to get it above my head. She looks cutely pathetic as she stands on her tippy toes in an attempt to shield me from the rain. I take the umbrella from her and give her a light smile.
"I'm Erica by the way"
"Daniel"
'Nice name"
"Thanks"
There is an air of akward silence and just when I think she's about to leave she says "I like your scent, it's captivating"
"Thanks?"
"Can I get your number. I'd like to know you more"
Why is she flirting with me. I collect her phone and type in my number.
"Tnx. I'll get my umbrella back on our first date" she says and walks away.
