He gives me a peck good bye before closing the door and leaving me home alone.

Finally

While Noah is gone for Dylan's bachelors party, I have a few things in mind to keep me busy. It's been long since we've been apart and I really need this home alone moment cause I'm starting to feel married, not like I hate it but I need some me time once in a while.

I jog upstairs and change to a casual sweater dress. Making sure Noah's car is out of sight, I leave the house and get in my car. I plan to surprise him a little bit.

Nothing sexual

I get to the salon and ask for my hair to be dyed black and to get large box braids done. Before I get my hair braided, I look in the mirror after getting it dyed and see highschool me that I once hated and tried to erase. But black hair really looks cute on me.

I'm finally done with my braids and wine colored nails (matching the wedding color) and leave the salon by seven twenty pm. I get back home and take a long bath. A crazy idea pops into my head.

I make a group video call to Roxanne, Beth, Frida and Kevin. Danny and I are still not on talking terms. Not my fault, he says he can't be friends with a girl that "broke him"

Can't force him

"Hey guys"

"Oh my God, Tee. It's been so long" Frida says.
"I know, that's why I'm calling. My place,now. I'm sending you all the address"

"I'm so in" Beth replies

"Me too" says Roxanne

And Kevin says "of course"

I also decide to call Marcia and ask her if she'd like to come too.
"What do you expect me to say? No?"

We both laugh and she confirms she'll come over. I organize the snacks and plan the netflix series Kevin would love to watch, in the living room.

Roxy gets here first. No surprise she lives the closest. She hugs me immediately I open the door.

"Oh my God, you got a nose piercing?"

She asks startled referring to my standard nostril piercing.
"Yup, you inspired me" I tease her and she laughs. Not long after, everyone is here.

"Okay, quick introduction. Guys meet Marcia, Noah's.."

Inwardly pukes

"Female best friend"

"Hey guys" marcia waves.

"Where's Danny" Beth asks and puts a pringle in her mouth.
"Oh, long story. We aren't speaking"

"We're here for long stories Tee. Tell us everything. We haven't seen you in like years"

"Why the exaggeration" I laugh and narrate everything I can remember from the beginning of Noah and I's relationship till now.

"I think I'm gonna cry" Frida says dramatically and laughs.

"You know, if not for us this would have never happened"

"Your right. Thanks guys" I reply honestly.
"Okay, can we watch some Netflix now" kevin suggests and we all laugh.

The only guy I know that can binge watch to save his life

"So Marcia... Any guy?" Roxy asks

"Or girl" Beth adds and laughs. Marcia blushes for a while and says "there's this one guy"

And we are all ears, except Kevin. They met at a park where he works, she needed help, he found her cute and two dates later, he's escorting her to Dylan's wedding.
