I stand at the dirty sink that's in the back of my cell, filling my hands with water. I splash my face with the water and wipe it dry with the dirty shirt they provided me so I wasn't half naked. "Leo" I hear RJ from behind me as I dry my face.
"Yea?" I query turning around, then I see Qi'ra standing at my cell door smiling back at me. "Look who's come for another visit. If I knew any better I'd think you're starting to like me" I joke walking up to her, crossing my arms.
"Hm funny" She hums unamused by my joke. "I'll be taking you to Darth Maul now. He'll tell you what you need to do" She explains then brings out a dagger pointing it at me. "No funny business"
"Hey I'll keep my hands to myself" I put my hands up in defense with a smile on my face.
"Let's go" She motions with her head and turns away from me starting to walk away.
"Come on RJ" I wave him to follow as I follow after Qi'ra. "So who's this Darth Maul guy?"
"You'll see." She looks back at me then forwards once again.
I quicken my pace to walk next to her then she lifts the dagger up to me. "Hands to myself" I put my hands up again. "Darth? So you're apart of the sith or something?"
"Or something" She chuckles putting her dagger down again.
"Am I to be accompanied by anyone on this small mission?" I hum looking over at her, clasping my hands together behind my back.
"I'm not sure, you'll have to ask him" She says as the door we approach opens. Me and RJ follow her into the room and we are met by a half robotic man.
"Ah finally you've arrived. Come" He motions me forward, so I obey and take a step towards him.
"What's this mission you want me to go on?" I take a deep breath scanning the half bionic man sitting in front of me.
"I need you to steal something for me. The strongest metal in the galaxy, do you know what that is?" He asks squinting his eyes at me.
"Beskar."
"Correct!" He says standing up from his chair. "Well I need you to steal this gold ring for me, the buyer will pay with said Beskar. A great deal of it too. Do that, and you and your droid are free to go home" Maul smirks tilting his head all the way to the side.
"All I need to do is steal that ring.. and you'll let me and RJ go home?" I check, even though he could be very well lying to me.
"Yes precisely. Do you accept this offer?" He asks straightening his neck.
"I accept." I nod to him and look back at RJ who had been standing with Qi'ra.
"Great! Qi'ra darling you will accompany them on this mission. You know... make sure they get it done" He looks past me at her with a devious smile forming across his lips.
"Yes sir" She bows to him and glares at me while I smirk back at her.
"Begone then. I'll be expecting you in a few days" He shoos us away then turns around to face the window once again.
"Come then" Qi'ra grabs my arm, quickly pulling me out of the room.
"Guess you're stuck with me for a few days" I chuckle, now walking next to her as she releases my arm.
"Oh great, I love dealing with flirts" She rolls her eyes at me and quickens her pace.
"Whoa, Who said I was flirting with you? RJ am I being flirty with miss Qi'ra here?" I ask him happily looking down at RJ who's now walking next to me as well.
"I don't know if I'd say flirting"
"See?" I chuckle looking back up at Qi'ra.
"Of course he's going to agree with you, he's your droid" She scoffs shaking her head as we enter the hangar part of their giant ship.
"I consider him a friend not just a droid actually" I correct her and she gives me a very unamused expression.
"Get in the ship" She grabs my arm dragging me into a small ship. "We'll take this down to your hut and then take your own ship"
"Good, I can take my new ship out on its first mission already!" I hum happily and bend down patting RJ's head.
"I can't wait to take our new ship on a mission!" He hops up and down beeping excitedly at me.
Qi'ra flies us back down to Jakku and to our little hut. "Let me change real quick!" I yell as I run off the ship.
"Hey!" Qi'ra yells after me. A few minutes and some clean clothes later I walk out of my home. Qi'ra stands there narrowing her eyes at me with her hands on her hips.
"What?" She groans and rolls her eyes and turns as the ship we came in flies off with one of the soldiers driving. She then starts walking towards my ship as I chuckle very amused at her annoyance.
"Leo.. I'm nervous about this.." RJ walks next to me as we begin walking to our ship.
"It'll be ok RJ. We just need to hurry with this mission, and then we can be back at home" I stop and bend down on one knee placing my hand on his head. "We have to do this so we can be free again."
"Hate to interrupt but we have a mission to start" She chimes in waving at us to get our attention.
"Good point" I chuckle standing up and open the hatch to our ship. "After you" I smile letting Qi'ra go in first. She chuckles lightly before walking in with RJ close behind. I follow in after, shutting the door behind me. I sit down with Qi'ra sitting in the seat next to me. "Do you want to-"
"Already on it" She smirks putting the location into my ships system.
"Dantooine? How long will that take?" I question as I start up my ship.
"It'll be awhile. I'd get comfortable if I were you" She suggests leaning back in her seat raising her brows at me.
"Alright, ready to go RJ?" I look back at him getting in his own little seat.
"Ready Leo!" He beeps happily.
"Off we go then!" I chuckle taking off to our destination.
