We get back to the house with my arm around Qi'ra as we enter. There, Kyly and RJ wait sitting worriedly on the couch.when we walk in Kyly's face lights up and RJ beeps excitedly and jumps off the couch. "Leo! Qi'ra! You're back!" RJ runs over and hugs onto my leg. "Why are you shirtless?" He beeps curiously.
"You know.." I chuckle lightly, moving my bunched up shirt away, showing my sewed up wound. "Just adding another scar to my collection." A small gasp comes from both RJ and Kyly as I show my wound.
"I'll go get you a new shirt." Gil pats my shoulder smiling and walks off towards his room.
RJ then takes notice to my arm around Qi'ra and starts questioning it, "Hey.. why are you two being all lovely all of a sudden? Does this mean you made up?"
"Yes we made up. I also finally asked her to be my girlfriend too." I look down at her smiling and then lean down kissing her softly.
"Yay! Finally! I was wondering when you were finally going to ask her." RJ chuckles as I push him back with my foot.
"Shut it. I was waiting for the right time." I laugh as he beeps annoyed at me. I look over at Kyly standing awkwardly a few feet behind RJ. Her face is now visibly sad as our eyes lock. "Kyly."
She shakes her head and looks down at the ground. "I'm glad you're ok." Then she quickly walks away to her bedroom.
I sigh watching as she walks away down the hall while Gil passes her confused. He walks back into the room and hands me a new clean shirt. "Here you go bud"
"Thanks Gil." I smile as Qi'ra takes my old ripped and bloody shirt from me allowing me to bout the new one on. I look over at Qi'ra who's gripping onto my old shirt. "What's wrong?"
"You should go talk to her. We'll have to lean within a couple days. So you shouldn't leave on bad terms" She smiles wrapping her arms around my waist. "I'll take RJ back to the ship and wait for you there." Then she gets on her tip toes while pulling me down towards her and whispers. "You can join me in the bed now." A huge smile forms across my lips making her giggle. "See you soon" She kisses me softly then squats down ti RJ holding out her arms. "Let's go RJ." He nods and hops into Qi'ra's arms then climbs onto her shoulder.
"I'll walk you out." Gil smiles and follows Qi'ra and RJ out.
I take a deep breath and walk over to Kyly's room. "Kyly?" I make myself known, seeing her sitting in her bed with her head in her hands. "Can I come in?" I check, she quietly nods in response. I walk over to her bed and sit down next to her. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I don't feel the same way you feel about me. But Kyly, I still care about you. You're like a sister to me, you and your dad... you're my family. I just... added someone else to that family. But you'll always be a big part of my life. No matter where I venture off too. You're like the sister I never had, and Gil is the father I wish I still had. And I'm happy with that. I'm happy with RJ. And... I'm happy with Qi'ra. So can we please not fight and all be happy? Especially before we leave." I smile nervously as she looks up at me on the verge of tears.
She takes a deep breath, holding it for a moment before beginning to cry. I panic a little before she wraps her arms around my shoulder hugging me. "I'm sorry for being a jerk! I'm not mad at you. Honestly your words helped and I'm happy you're happy. I hope Qi'ra keeps making you happy, she seems like she'll keep you in check!" She laughs pulling away from the hug while wiping the tears from her cheeks. "You're my family too. My dad never stops talking about you and how you were like a son to him. So he was super happy about you being here. So am I. I'll get over my feelings I promise, and no more fighting." She smiles and leans her head on my shoulder.
"So... we're good then?" I check just to make sure.
Kyly laughs smacking my arm, "Yes. We're good." She sits up and kisses my cheek. "Sorry last one." She sighs and stands up from her bed motioning towards the door. "I'll walk you out." I nod silently and follow her out of her room and out of the house. "See you tomorrow. I'm sure my dads almost ready with your armor."
"Yea it should be done soon. I'll see you tomorrow." I smile placing my hand on the top of her head and walk off towards my ship. Once I'm there I open the hatch and walk inside. I look over and see RJ sitting up in the cockpit by himself. Then Qi'ra moves on the bed in the back looking over at me. She smiles as I walk over and climb into the bed next to her. "Hi. You know, it's nice having someone to lay down with." I chuckle wrapping my arms around her.
"I haven't hd this in awhile. It is nice" She slowly scoots over leaning her head on my chest making my cheeks burn a little.
"We can cuddle every night, we have each other now." I smile holding her close to my chest and then kiss the top of her head. "Once we get back home, we can officially go on our first mission"
"You know you could work as a mechanic or something. You're really good at making things. And it's less dangerous" She looks up at me smiling.
"I know. Maybe one day but... I enjoy going out on adventures and missions. Going to different places, different planets... I don't know. But now I'm even more excited, because you'll be there with us" I lean down kissing her lips softly.
"You know. I'm excited too" She hums and nuzzles her face in my chest. "Goodnight Leo"
"Goodnight my love..."I whisper holding her tightly before losing my eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep.
