"That's an insult to pigs, Jessica."

The young girls giggled at the mean spirited comment, looking at each other deviously and then back to the heavy set girl in the bathroom. The victim had tears silently going down her face at the relentless words that overpowered any sense of self-worth.

Yasmine stood at Jesse's right and Moon stood at her left, the rich girls forming their own Heather's group with satisfaction. Jesse rolled her eyes in exaggeration.

"Good, god? You're already crying?" She sneered and looked at Moon with a look of disgust on her face. "She's actually crying."

"You're going to have to lose more than just water weight if you want to stop looking like a greased up cupcake." Yasmine sneered and the girls went into laughter at the first sob that broke through the young girls defenses. "I don't think I can handle this anymore."

"Me neither." Jesse agreed, pretending to wipe a tear away from her eyes with a predatory smile. She sighed and grabbed Moon and Yasmine by at the arms, sending one last fake smile to the mentally broken girl. "That's what you get for thinking anyone would want you, Miss Piggy. Might want to work on that self confidence."

"And maybe excercise. Hold off on the carbs." Yasmine sneered victoriously with a smirk.

"I've heard that a skin routine can do wonders." Moon smiled, eyes sharp and giggles pouring out. "But you might need a miracle."

The three friends left the bathroom nearly cackling, forgetting about the girl in the bathroom and what they had done to her. They were the most feared, the most powerful, and Jesse thrived off of the control.

Here heart raced.

It was only a matter of time before she was recognized and this was it. She watched the soft features of her old friend twist into confusion at the sight of her and then light up with recognition, arms wrapping around Jesse tightly.

"Oh. My. Stars. Jesse!" Moon squealed into Jesse's implants causing Jesse to flinch at the harsh noise that sent a painful ringing through her head. It took everyone in Jesse to not throw Moon to the ground at the excruciating feeling that went through her. "Where have you been?!"

It seemed like everyone at the party was looking at her oddly, expectantly c and Demetri had the weirdest look of all. Jesse cleared her throat, the attention becoming too much.

"W-why don't we catch up somewhere... quieter?" Jesse suggested nervously, informing the stares and whispered, grabbing onto Moon's arm and dragging her into the kitchen. "I see you've uh moved. I didn't know this was your party." The girl immediately relaxed as she closed the kitchen door, even though two couples were making out in the same room, the noise was much more bearable.

"Yeah, we moved, like, 2 years ago. Mom didn't like how the sun hit the windows in the morning, so we're here now." Moon supplied helpfully, heading around the island to grab her vegan pigs in a blanket out of the oven. "What happened to you, Jessica? It's like, one minute you're there and then the next you were just, like, gone!"

Jesse winced, rubbing the back of her neck and trying to find the right words. "There was a car crash and we'll... I kind of died and then I came back and well..." with a sigh Jesse pushed back her hair so that her implants were more pronounced, wincing as she  heard the sharp intake of breathe from Moon. "Yeah, I went deaf so my parents sent me to boarding school for deaf kids until I could get this figured out."

"Oh Jesse..." Moon whispered out with a mix of sympathy and horror. Immediately after the words left the girl hurried over to Jesse, sweeping her into a firm hug and responding a little softer than before. "I had no idea. Kyler would just get angry and storm off or punch someone if you were mentioned... he gave Damien a bloody nose for even saying that he missed you..."
