Aiden...
I asked Aaron and George if we could cut the class. They both agreed on the spot. We were on the turn near a go-down when five of the people came to stop the car. They dragged us into the room and tied us to a chair. I asked for what they tried to kidnap us, but they didn't say a word. They are wearing masks. They started beating us when we asked more questions, but they still didn't say a word.
We sat there for what seemed like an hour. They were not leaving us. They still stood in front of us like a wall. They tapped our mouth now from asking questions. They kept looking at us. Suddenly, a chair came flying and hit one of them. He hit the ground with a thud. Everyone was distracted from us.
Someone is trying to untie the top of my hands. I turned to see Adam.
"Shhh," he hissed as he caught me looking.
Adam? How did he get here?
He removed my tap.
"How did you get here?" I whisper-asks.
"Jade," he says. Jade? Did she send that chair flying? Oh my god! Adam went to untie the others.
I got to my feet to see her standing in front of them unarmed. What can she do without a weapon?
"So you are jade, aren't you?" One of them asks
Wait! How do they know her name?
"Yes," she replied. She doesn't seem frightened of them.
A man dressed in black went straight to her. She held out her arm and he went flying, hitting the wall hard and falling down motionless. How did she do that? without moving?
"Wow," someone muttered.
Others had stopped and moved backwards, but she lifted both her arms, three of them in the air. She held them just by lifting her arms. She's not even holding them. For a long time, she made them stumple in the air before she lifted her arms down, making them fall down. They screamed with pain. She starred at them for a moment before walking towards us.
"How did you do that?"
"What the hell?"
"Is that what you mean by your power?"
Aaron, George, and Adam asked at the same time. She didn't pay attention to them as she came straight to our eyes. She didn't seem to hear them. She stopped in front of me and did something I never thought of. She slapped me in the face!
"Who told you to get into trouble?" She yelled at me. I stood there clutching my face where she had just slapped me. It hurt like hell.
You're not supposed to leave without me. Is that clear? " She says this and turns to Adam. "I'm sorry, can you get a lift from George?"
"Oh yeahh... sure," he says.
"How did you do that?" asks George. "Aaron had gone completely still. I let go of my face, fixing my gaze on her.
"I'll explain everything later," she says, "but don't tell anyone until then, okay?"
They all nodded simultaneously.
She turned to me again. She grabbed my arms, making me drool behind her. She gave me the key as we reached my car.
She didn't speak for a long time. She appeared to be lost in thought. I never
new she would beat me like that. It still hurts."Why did you beat me?" I ask
"Who told you to skip class and get into trouble?" She snaps back.
"I didn't get into---"
"Just shut up," she shouts, closing her eyes. She looks so down.
I parked the car in front of my home. She got out of the car, grabbing her bag without a word.
She didn't come to lunch I asked Charlie. She said Jade was not feeling well. I tried knocking on the door, but she didn't open it. I'm sure she wouldn't sleep because she claims to have insomnia. Yet I didn't bother her anymore.
...
Two months later,
Adam, Aaron, and George already knew all about her power and that she was my bodyguard. She explained her power to My dad and uncle had known this for a long time. That was why they hired her to be my bodyguard. Peter and the blonde-haired girl still don't know about her. Adam promised not to tell Peter.
That incident has gone completely wrong. She changed her seat in class so that she was sitting in seat in class so that she was sitting in front of me. She keeps me company every now and then. Whenever I'm at football practice, she'll be there, canteen, break. Every time, the only place she leaves me alone is the toilet, only because it's for men. If I ever want to go out, she'll accompany me wherever I want to go no matter what. I started feeling good when she's around. The same for George and Aaron. Whenever she's with Peter and the blonde-haired girl, they become jealous and drag her away from us.
In the past week, we got to know each other. She said her parents died in an accident when she was young and she was raised by her aunt after that. I started being friendly instead of being rude to her. I think she treats everyone the way they treat her.
I parked my car, and we made our way to the mall. I don't know. I think I like her. I asked why she was ready for this job and she said it was only because of the money my dad offered. Even if that's the case, I feel so good. I'm grateful to her for being my bodyguard.
I came to a stop in front of an ice cream shop. I knew her favourite was butterscotch. I told her to wait here and walked into the shop. I ordered two butterscotch cones and was waiting for them when I heard yelling.
"Who do you think you are?" The voice yells. I turned to see people crowding where I left Jade. Oh my God, Jade!
"Jade, look, that's a misunderstanding!" says the other voice. "
Jade? Now it's confirmed. I made my way out of the crowd and saw Jade standing there, her eyes shining with unsheared tears. She's starting at a boy who looks at her like he needs to kill her.
"It wasn't a misunderstanding!" She yells
"It was; she is just my friend."
"I never knew," she says teasingly. Tears trailed down her cheeks. "You behave towards your friends like that."
"Please understand, Jade! It's not what you think. "
"I don't care!" "Leave me alone!"
"I care! I love you. I want you back! "
"Do you think I'm a toy?" I'm a human, James, and I'd like to know what you think of me. Huh? I may seem strong and bold on the outside, but I'm weak on the inside. My heart's not that strong to suffer heartbreak for another time. You broke my heart. You broke my trust. I used to trust everyone, but you proved to me that it's wrong to trust everyone blindly. Thank you for that. Don't come to me again; I won't fall for your sweet words again. " She said, her voice breaking. She turned and walked away.
"Jade", he started to follow her. I stopped him.
Didn't you hear what she said? Stay away from her! She's mine! " I said and I mean it.
