I got dressed in my uniform. I locked my door and was walking towards the stairs when Aiden opened his door.

"Where are you going?" he asks.

"School"

"Which school"

"Don't you recognise this uniform? I'm going to your school."

"Seriously? Can't you leave me alone? "

"That's not what I'm hired for."

"Ugh..."

He said as he walked downstairs as I kept up with him. We got into the car and drove off. He hadn't spoken a word since that, as we reached the school. He got out of the car and walked off. Leaving me alone

This boy! I walked towards the building where he walked to. After a long time of searching, I found my class. There aren't many students here, having come yet, I assume. I spot a group of giggling girls sitting on the back, appearing to be in a brief conversation. I spot a girl in the middle, appearing to be lost in reading. I believe.I made my way towards her.

She raised her head from the book and smiled at me. She is so beautiful, with pretty green eyes and blonde hair.

"Are you new to be here?" She asks.

"Oh.. yeah."

"You can sit here," she said, pointing to the desk in front of her. I sat there, turning my head to face her.

"Are you alone? Haven't your friends arrived yet? "

"No, I  have friends. I mean, not best friend. Who would like to be the best friend of a book worm?" She says, laughing.

"I do. I love to read books. I have a library at my home."

"Really? Take me to your home someday; you are announced as my best friend. " She says throwing her arms in the air.

I chuckled. We chatted for a long time, speaking about books we read, our favourite book boyfriends, and so on. Her name is Emma. She comes from a rich family, and has an elder sister who's a master in business. Her parents own a fashion company.

"Who are you?" Someone asks I turned to see a boy with grey eyes and black hair. Standing near me

"She's new to our school," says Emma.

"Oh.. I'm Peter Williams," he says, holding out his hands. "Your name?"

"Jade Martin," I say, shaking his hands.

"What are you doing with Emma worm?"

"She's my friend, and stop calling me Emma worm!!" She yelled.

"Stay away from her," he says to me as a warning, winking. and ran to sit at his desk as Emma started throwing things at him. I laughed.

She says sadly, "Peter is kind. He just started to recover from his sister's death."

"What happened to his sister?" I asked in a low voice.

"She was playing near the lake. She slipped and drowned. By the time he saw her she was dead. Poor Peter was mentally down after that. She was his only sister. And just five. " She says, weakly smiling." Don't ask him about this," she added as a warning.

"No, never." I promised, glancing back at Peter. He's talking with a brown-haired boy.

It will be so awful to lose his sister. I lost my parents and I'm not yet recovered. Is he having nightmares like mine? Will he recover from this completely? I thought of a lot of questions and possibilities, but dropped them as soon as he caught me looking.
I smiled at him awkwardly.
