Jade...
Everything was fine after I caught him with Adam. He started being nice. I wondered where that rude boy had gone. He doesn't complain like he did before, when I followed him everywhere. Michael came back just a week ago. I hadn't told him about that incident, mostly because Aiden begged me.
I saw the doctor on the day after that. When he saw me, he told me he had important work and walked off. I don't know why. But it seems as though he is avoiding me. I don't care. Charlie used to give us coffee and serve food. But I have noticed that whenever Dr. is around, Lucy will be doing all the work, including serving the food. It seems curious
I wasn't sleeping well all these years; I only slept for two or three hours. But after I saw that truck nightmares are the worst, I'm still thinking about that. The way that driver looked, that disappointed face, was it my parents' an accident?
I haven't been in a good mood for the past two months. Even if I act like nothing happened, a thousand questions come to my mind about the truck and that accident. Everything got worse when I saw James. I hadn't thought of him after I joined Aiden's. Emma, Peter, and others always kept me busy, so I didn't even have time to think about him.
When my aunt called to say he was coming to meet me at home, I told her to shoo him away if he ever came again. I didn't know he was here in the mall when Aiden left me. If I had known, I would have gone with Aiden.
I walked out, my head heavy with pain. I walked into the car park, and cried, leaning against Aiden's car. I covered my face because I still can't control my tears. My heart felt light after I told him how I really felt.
"Jade," someone called, not someone, it's Aiden. I threw myself at him, crying hard. He didn't say a word; he just held me until I stopped crying and stepped back from him. He opened the door for me. I sat inside. There was an awkward silence for a long time, broken by Aiden.
"Was that your boyfriend?" he asks.
I corrected him, "ex boyfriend."
"What's the matter?"
I remain quiet.
"Why did you break up with him?" "He seems to really love you."
"He's lying to me!" I snap at him, "I caught him together with another girl!"
He just looks at me.
I had an appointment with the doctor for my aunt on her birthday. So I told him I couldn't be there and how sorry I was. But the appointment was cancelled at the last minute. So I thought I could give him a surprise and went to his home without informing him. And I saw him with another girl. They were kissing, yet he says it was a misunderstanding. I say, wiping away tears.
"I'm sorry," he says. I look at him.
"For what ? You didn't do anything wrong". I say
"Right" is all he says. We didn't speak after that! We got home, I took a shower and was getting dressed when I heard a knock on the door. I quickly dressed up and opened the door to see Lucy smiling up at me.
"Hey Lucy!" I said, smiling back.
"Hey, Michael is calling you." She says
I nodded and follow her. She stopped in front of his office and let me inside.
He smiled at me as he caught me coming.
"Ah jade, our party will be on the day after tomorrow," he says. "I just want to inform you to be careful."
I smiled at him. "I'll be careful. I will keep him safe."
"I trust you."
After providing the information about the party, I walked straight into the kitchen. Charlie and Lucy were still working. Charlie and Lucy still didn't. I hadn't told her. Lucy's daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She saw our picture.
