"Pft. You look awful." Kaeya went up to Albedo and ruffled his drenched hair. Seizing this opportunity, he pretended to help Albedo but in reality, he was playing with those blonde locks. Even wet, they felt as soft as the feathers on a baby bird and looked as if they had been taken care of well.

"Oh shut up you bitch." Albedo swatted his hand away before going to the locker rooms to change. He shot one last glare at him before walking away. Oh how did his defiance to admit he was hot entertain him.

"You alright bud?" Itto was drying the ginger brown boy. He made eye contact with Itto's red eyes with his own soulful blue ones.

"Sup Gorou." Kaeya nodded in his direction.

"Kaeya." Gorou nodded back before answering Itto's question.

"Hey Zhongli. Who's the girl?" Diluc pointed out the grayish white haired girl again. Now that it wasn't raining, Kaeya could look at her properly. Her body was quite defined for someone her size, being a head shorter than Zhongli. Her large doll lik olive green eyes and porcelain skin just a shade darker than the brunette's  made her seem even more harmless than a puppy.

"Oh, this is Noelle. She joined around the time I did. You tried out for the football club, no?" Zhongli, now 50% dry, managed to escape Childe long enough to introduce the girl.

"I did. And I got in." Noelle told them. "I believe the redhead is the captain?"

"No. Childe is. I'm just the vice." Diluc informed her. "I took over because Childe had some family matters to settle."

"Childe?" Zhongli noticed the ginger went very quiet. Kaeya did too. And he thought that his face darkened a little bit.

"I'm fine, don't worry. Just a bit surprised that a girl would have any interest in sports. Surprise me later." Childe dismissed the question and went back to fussing over him. Kaeya decided he had seen enough and went to his next class. He walked down the silent hallways once more and finally arrived at his science lecture. As much as he hated it, it was a must if he ever wanted to complete his degree in criminology. At least he had Childe to help him. He sat in his regular seat in the back as he waited for Childe. As he was about to enjoy his peaceful afternoon, a group of girls walked up to him.

"H-Hey Kaeya!" The closest one to him spoke. He winked back at them before watching them run away squealing.

K: How amusing. Like I'd ever date them.

"Sup blueberry." Childe practically jumped into the seat next to him, startling the blue haired male.

"Geez Ed Sheeran." Kaeya rolled his eyes as the ginger grinned. They sooned stopped talking as the teacher began her lecture. Kaeya only half listened to it before she stopped.

"Now, class, the rest of this term will be used for a project. You need to research on..."

Kaeya once again stopped listening until she stopped at the name list.

"So the pairs will be...Zhongli and Childe and finally, Albedo and Kaeya."

"WHAT?!" When she said that, both Albedo and Kaeya sprung from their chairs and began to protest.

"Miss, with all due respect, I'm not going to work with that self entitled idiot who will take all the credit for my work!" Albedo shouted at her.

"I would never! If anything, you would overload my brain with useless information!" Kaeya yelled back at him. The 2 continued to bicker with one another before finally stopping to catch their breath.

"And this is exactly why we're putting the both of you in a group. Your arguments are getting out of control and we need this to stop. If you both can pass, then you won't ever have to see each other." She had a satisfied smile on her face as the 2 sat down in defiance.

"Wait! Then what about Childe and Zhongli?" Kaeya noticed this was the first time his friend got his senior for a project.

"Oh he requested it." The teacher responded. Kaeya shot a glare at Childe, who just shrugged. They then got up to begin planning for their projects. Kaeya sulked all the way to Albedo's table.

"Remember I don't like you and I never will. This is only so I can pass this class and get that internship I want." Albedo firmly told him before handing him a piece of paper with numbers written on it.

"You're giving me your number? Bold move, blondie." Kaeya smirked as he keyed it into his phone.

"Only for school. Now, I'm going to your house." -Al

"What? No way! You stay in a dorm here!" -K

"And I have roommates. Take it or leave it." Albedo hissed at him.

"Geez, alright, alright. Meet me at the entrance after school." Kaeya rolled his eyes as he sat down next to Albedo. This felt like his worst nightmare but something was telling him it was a dream come true.
