Chapter 4 ~ Them

He finally made it to the building and he ignored everyone who asked him what's wrong and why he was rushing.

"Sorry I'm late!" Albedo burst the door of his dorm open. At once, a small object ran to him and gripped his knees.

"Big brother Albedo!" The object was a girl. She had light blonde hair and red eyes.

"Hi Klee. Sorry I couldn't pick you up." Albedo ruffled her hair and looked in the rest of the room.

"Albedo." Zhongli went up to him and set him straight as Klee was causing him to lean back. "Don't worry. I picked her up."

"Thanks. How was football practice?" Albedo finally went inside. He sat on the couch and accepted the water Gorou gave him.

"Great! You should have seen the look on Childe's face when he saw how she absolutely kicked ass!" Gorou showed him several photos he took. Noelle emerged at the same time he finished speaking. Boys and girls were usually separated but Noelle was an exception as Zhongli was her brother and Albedo and Gorou were some of the most trustworthy students.

"It wasn't that big of a deal. But I think he wouldn't mind a certain someone cheering for him in those cheerleading uniforms." Noelle leaned over to Zhongli, who blushed a little at being called out. "Maybe during the big game."

"No!" Zhongli threw his head back, half joking, half serious, and began laughing. The rest joined and they soon became a pile of laughing adults. They soon stopped when Albedo pointed out it was almost curfew.

"Wait! How was the project, Bedo?" Noelle asked him.

"Kaeya did almost nothing." Albedo rolled his eyes as he explained that evening's events. Gorou and Noelle burst out wheezing and even Zhongli chuckled before they heard the bell and they all turned in for the night. Albedo laid on his bed. Klee was in her smaller bed next to his, fast asleep. He smiled as he parted her bangs and kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight, spark night Klee." Albedo then went to get ready for bed. Having denied the clothes Kaeya offered him, he went to change. When he was done, Albedo got on his bed and began to think.

A: I think I'm going to talk with him. I mean, what else is there to do anyway.

He drifted off to sleep in the midst of his thoughts. The night went by peacefully without any disturbances, which was rare in this dorm. When he awoke, it was just the same as every other morning.

"You don't need to!"

"But-"

"No buts!"

A: The siblings are fighting again over really valid issues that I could only half care about.

Albedo got out of bed and went to change. Klee was still asleep and he decided to wake her up later. Wearing what he wore everyday, he went to the living room. Noelle and Zhongli were arguing in front of a mirror, Gorou watching them intently.

"How many fucking times do I have to say that you are beautiful just the way you are!" Noelle was tugging on his sleve, pulling him away from the mirror.

"I know! But-" Zhongli was resisting.

"No buts! You're eating!" Noelle finally managed to get him away from the mirror and pulled him onto a seat.

"I agree. You've starved yourself to the point you're literally skin and bone. Now eat." Albedo sat across from him and shoved a bowl in front of him. Noelle instictively took a hairband and tied Albedo's braid.

"And no pills today." Noelle threw the bottle across the room. Gorou was right next to where it landed and the sudden noise caused him to jump.

"Please, Zhongli, just stop." Gorou joined them and took the cereal bowl nearest to him.

"Fine..." Defeated, Zhongli began to eat. Albedo thanked Noelle as she herself began to eat. The 4 ate in silence and soon they all finished. Gorou did the dishes as the rest cleaned up the messy apartment. It was always like this every morning, arguments then school. Albedo then went back to his room to find Klee all ready to go. Taking her hand, they all left for the main school building. Albedo was hoping to not run into Kaeya, wanting to stay away from the blueberry as much as possible. Of course they couldn't. As they were walking, Kaeya, Childe, Itto, Diluc, Aether and this blonde girl that looked exactly like Aether were in front of them.
