Chapter 28 - Revelation

   Silence reigned in Agasa. Yoko was fixed by Conan and Ai. Especially Conan. But no one was talking, certainly not knowing where to start. Even the owner of the house said nothing. It was heavy.

   They had come a long way with Genta, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko at home, the latter having wondered why the girl with the glasses was accompanying them. The latter had said she wanted to hang out a bit before going home. Then the last three children had gone to the teacher, not talking about the way.

   -It is not by keeping silence that we will move forward... Conan sighed. Yoko-chan, can you tell me what you know about those men in black?
   The concerned looked up at the boy before looking away a little, uncomfortably. She hesitated a little, wondering if she could talk about it while Ai was facing her. Her presence intrigued her, but she could only conclude that this story also concerned her.
   -To be honest... I don't know anything about them... I just met them randomly...
   -So you really don't know who they are? Asked the kid with glasses.
   The brunette replied with a shake of her head. How could she know that without having seen them for a long time?

   Yoko put her hand on her face thinking.

   -Gin, Vodka. Said Ai.

   The short-haired girl didn't look surprised, unlike the bespectacled boy.

   Upon request, Agasa brought Yoko a glass of water. The latter drank it in one go before looking a little empty.

   -I found it strange that there was not the slightest clue that had been left. According to Haibara, it looks like their modus operandi.

   The two exchanged a look.
   -They are part of an organization. Their color is black. Started to explain Ai.

   The former high school girl looked at the ground while her classmate explained some things to her. Suddenly, she raised her head remembering an element of her "discussion" the other night with Conan.
   -They forced me to take a capsule... Do you know what it is? Conan-kun mentioned it so I guess you know things about me...
   -.. Apotoxin 4869. Answered the redhead. It's a drug I created for the organization. It's a cell killing program.
   -You have... ?
   There was a moment of silence stretched as Yoko's eyes widened. Conan, however, sighed.
   -Maybe I should have started with... Don't worry, we're not with them.
   -I'm starting to not understand anything... Complained the brunette.

   She put a hand to her face, thinking. An idea came to her. It wasn't impossible, but it would also be surprising. That would explain why the young boy knew what she had been coerced into taking, as well as other little things.
   -Conan-kun, by any chance... Did you take this... Apo... Apot
   He nodded.
   - So your name is a fake?
   -Yes. If you know Kudo Shinichi, you should know that he no longer appears in the newspapers or on TV.

   -I'm Kudo Shinichi, the high school detective...
   Seriously, as he had since the beginning, he took off his glasses. Yoko was surprised. She had heard a lot about Kudo Shinichi from the people around him before.

   -But... Now I'm not Enoshiya Kyoka anymore! I am Tomura Yoko! She said with tears in her eyes.
   Conan says nothing. He was focused on another element.
   -FBI? Launched Conan.
   -Um... I don't think I should have heard that but... Gin or Vodka clearly said "These FBI bugs are everywhere"... I wonder...
   -The FBI huh... Yoko-chan, thank you for the explanations. cut the boy with glasses. You can rest easy, I take care of the men in black.
   The redhead sighed at the boy's words. He said that with so much confidence, and she didn't look happy about it.

   Yoko stood up, staring into space a bit to assimilate as much information as possible. She had learned many things, and did not know how to take them.
   -I'm going home... She ended up announcing.
   -I'll go too. announced the detective.
The two would go a long way together.
   -Enoshiya-san.
   The concerned had a shiver. She was no longer accustomed to this appellation.
   -Ha... Haibara-san... Please don't call me that...
   -You should take care of yourself. Maybe it's not just Gin and Vodka who know your face, since they've been researching to find you.
   They looked at each other in silence. Ai, from what the bespectacled kid had learned, was a former member of the organization. She is knew more about the subject and especially the danger.
   But knowing that she was still in danger hurt her. She was no longer Enoshiya Kyoka but Tomura Yoko. She wanted to live her quiet life, without having to see Gin and Vodka again.
   -...Ok... See you tomorrow...
   She walked with the boy towards the entrance.
