Vikings are strong, tough and courageous, but courage is a funny thing, many are born with it, for some it's a never-ending struggle and others just don't know enough to be afraid
(Dragon academy)
The teens were at the academy with Gobber teaching them hand to hand combat, also since Blake had experience in than area, he was helping them train
The first ones were Tuffnut and Ruffnut, both of them were holding some shields, Ruffnut was the first one to attack hitting Tuffnut's shield multiple times with her own then she was able to knock her bother down making the shield fly out of his hands in the process
"As I've said a million of times and as Ruffnut has demonstrated so splendidly, the shield can be your most important weapon" Gobber explained as he showed the teens Ruffnut's shield
"That's right, sometimes being defensive can be better than being offensive" Blake said "Now, who's next?"
"Hiccup, Astrid, your turn" Gobber said but Hiccup didn't look too ready "Well, I don't think is fair for me to be fighting-" he tried to say but he got interrupted when he had to dodge Astrid's kick before dodging a right hook
Then Hiccup flipped Astrid over his shoulder before Astrid tackle him and pinned him down "When you're in a situation like this, it's best to remain calm and take deep breaths" Gobber advised but Hiccup was unable to do that
"When that's not an option, I would advise playing dead" Gobber said as Hiccup groaned before lying on the ground motionless
"Okay that's enough" Blake said making Astrid get off Hiccup "You okay?" Astrid asked noticing that Hiccup was still on the ground "Never been better, the shoulder should pop back into place in no time" he said getting up
"Let me help you with that" Blake said grabbing Hiccup's arm with one hand and gently stretching it backwards and placing his other hand on Hiccup's shoulder
"Do you know what you're doing?" Hiccup asked nervously
"Relax, I've done this once" Blake said before pulling Hiccup's arm and pushing his shoulder making it get back in place "Ouch!" Hiccup yelled painfully
"Better?" Blake asked
"Yeah, better" Hiccup said rolling his shoulder
"For the next time we train just remember, if the odds are against you fight like you would if you could win" Blake advised
"I'll keep it in mind" Hiccup said
"However, don't push yourself to far or your muscles will hurt in the morning" Blake said massaging his shoulder "And that's something that is better to avoid"
"Snotlout, Fishlegs, let see what you've got" Gobber said
"Whoo! I think we all know what I've got, Snotlout, Snotlout, oi, oi, oi" Snotlout cheered
"Fishlegs don't be shy, Vikings can't rely on dragons alone to protect them" Gobber called for Fishlegs but he wasn't even there "Thoughts on Fishlegs' whereabouts? Anyone?"
(Rocky Island)
Meanwhile with Fishegs, he was on a rocky island with Meatlug "What a glorious day Meatlug" Fishlegs said looking at the sunset "You and me on our own secret island, no old dumb hand to hand combat and more importantly, not a Snotlout for miles
Then the wind picked up making Fishlegs shiver but Meatlug shot a lava blast creating a small fire to warm Fishlegs up
There was one a dragon named Meatlug
