She's all smiles
She's all smiles,
the sun beams off her pearly whites.
So engaged with the ones around her,
she's the person to look to
for the help you need gaining happiness;
for the care and love you lacked;
when the ones you trusted most
wouldn't do a thing.
She's the earthly angel,
which you seek advice from—
the wise and motherly figure you longed for,
to caress you and sooth your worries;
the one to shoulder all your burdens,
like mother nature nurturing her child, Earth.
But!
When she walks away,
smiles and waves goodbye,
her shoulders slump with the weight of the universe;
she curls into herself, retreating back into her own world,
and loses herself in the crowd,
who notice her not.
In the end,
advice sought and given,
she's forgotten and alone.
the damaged child never to be held...
