TWO BEERS sat between you and Eddie, still ice cold and unopened. You sat on his trailer roof, the staring at the sky. Eddie letting a puff of smoke float out from his lips.
You and Eddie had snuck out of school, which Eddie has clearly done multiple times. You put your bike in the back of his van and you sped off to his place.
He helped you wash your hair and get cleaned up. But you never changed out of his clothes.
Eddie turned to you and smiled. "Have you ever shotgunned before?" He hummed, taking another puff of his cigarette.
"This is only my second time illegally drinking, Munson," you gave him a blank expression. Eddie smirked.
"Perfect," he picked up his beer and grabbed his keys. "Just do what I do." He began to explain how to shotgun the beer.
"Alright, now pop the tab on 3," Eddie put the hole you put in the beer against his lips. You copied him and nodded. "One, two, three!" His words were muffled.
On three, you both opened the tab and started chugging the liquid. You finished and slightly coughed. "Look at that! You're an expert," Eddie grinned once he finished.
"You're a bad influence," you laughed.
"I'm the worst influence, thank you very much," Eddie winked.
