Chapter 4: New guy

Dices pov
I was at devil's place getting dressed because I started work today and I wanted to look my best.  He walks into the bathroom with a cup of coffee and his back slouching "Posture dear.." I remind him about his slouching problem I've noticed . "ehhh.." he groans coming up to my face. "Dang, how long have you sleep its almost 7:00," I ask cuffing his face in my hands and kissing his nose. "Well, you're ready for work for sure.." he looks me up and down. "well I wanna make a good impression." I smile.

"Well you've already made a good impression with your boss." he smiles and pulls me in for a kiss. "umm boss??" He turns around and drops me once he sees henchmen. "gosh henchmen what are you doing it's so early!" he shouts. "umm boss it's 6:50" he replies. "whatever what do you need?" he asks. "You already have guests outside.. do you want me to open up?" He asks. "Sure whatever." he scoffs. Henchmen walk out and close the door. The devil turns to me

"Your gonna be amazing on the job." he smiles grabbing my waist. "I'm not even a dealer how great can I be?" I ask. "well I have a gift for you." he smiles opening the sink drawers taking out a red box and handing it to me. "what's in here?" I ask as the box starts to shake a little. "I know you're good with cards don't ask how I know but I do so here's a gift." before I could ask how he knew that about 18 live cards jumped out of the box. "aww they are adorable!!" I poke at them. "

yeah they are magical cards that are sort of your henchmen and they clean, do makeup, and other things." he does jazz hands. The little card people make little "meep!" noises and climb on my shoulders. "Thank you! Really." I hug him. "Shit! I gotta introduce you to the employees so come!" He drags me out to the casino.  "god henchmen didn't even open up!" he growls. "it's still early dev chill out." I say. We walked into the casino and it was still shiny and beautiful as always I see the employees cleaning up.

"Ahem" he clears his throat and the casino goes quiet. "Before we open up I want to introduce you all to your new co-worker, dice!" He shouts and I wave. No one says anything and goes back to work making me very offended that no one cared. Devil just looked at me and told me to get to work at the bar. Once he went into his office I felt so alone and left out, all the workers were friends and laughing meanwhile I'm at the bar cleaning cups.

3RD PERSON
"go for it pirouletta!" mangosteen shouted. "shhh be quiet!" she put her gloved finger over his lip. "sorry.." he muffled. She turned her head to see the new guy by himself looking lonely while cleaning out cups. Ever since she saw dice a few minuets ago she fell in love and needed to have him but mangosteen is a loud mouth so he would find out sooner or later. "How do I look?" She asked mangosteen while doing a twirl. "Looking good to me!" He winked at her and she walked towards the bar. "Umm can I help you?" Dice asked annoyed. "Yes you can." She puckered her lips. Dice was very confused "with what?" "You. Me on a date at 3:00." She blew him a kiss. Dice was so embarrassed because the other employees were watching. "Hehe.. we'll that's a very kind offer really but I'm gay." His eyes glowed green. Before she could reply the casino doors opened and tons of costumers rushed in.

Dice became excited, now was his chance to see how he would work in the workplace and if this job was a good fit for him but it would be hard to do that with pirouletta flirting with him. The bar was pretty simple and not hard to work in anyway so he was fine. He looked up and saw devil come out of his office looking dark and tall. He walked over the bar and stared at dice while he was working. Meanwhile wheezy and chips were talking and staring at devil "aye you see the boss?" Chips elbowed wheezy. Wheezy turned his head to see devils tail turning into a heart.

"Would you look at that." Wheezy said taking the cigar out his mouth. "Boss is swooning over the new guy!" Chips laughed.  Wheezy and the devil had been friends for a while since wheezy was the first one he hired so wheezy was confused because devil never showed interest in men. "Wait isn't pirouletta into the new guy though?" Wheezy questioned. "We'll what boss wants boss gets." Chips shrugged. Meanwhile at the bar dice was serving drinks while the devil sat and watched in amazement.
