Chapter 10: proposal

It was a busy day in the casino so the devil had come out of his office and work. Dice was dealing at a table while the devil was serving drinks when dice was smacked on the ass by a customer. "Hey, baby how about we grab a few drinks and we head down to my place?" He raised his eyes. Dice was about to lose his cool but decided to be Professional about it "That's nice but I'm happily in a relationship thanks for the offer though." The man became angry.

"I don't see that person around right now it's fine" he shouted. Devil had finished serving drinks and looked over to see the man harassing dice.  "Sir I'm trying to protect you if my boyfriend sees you touching me you'll be hurt bad." The man continued to grab onto dice, "get off of me you urchin!" Dice pushed him to the ground and the whole casino went silent staring at them. All this attention caused the devil to take a look once more and see the man grabbing dice after many warnings.

Devil walked up behind dice who was still being harassed and flashed the man a menacing smile causing him to freeze in fear. "See now you want to listen to me when I threaten you!" Dice placed his hands on his hips. "The d..d..de." The man shivered to point behind dice. "Huh?" Dice turned around to see his boyfriend who was now 7 feet tall. "GET OUT OF MY CASINO IF YOU EVER SHOW YOUR FACE HERE YOU'LL BE SORRY." He shouted.

The man rushed out the door in fear. "Dev you know I could have handled that myself." Dice scoffed. "I know it's just seeing that made me angry." He huffed. "Well my love you have to get used to it I am your most attractive employee." He kissed his nose. Devil watched dices hips sway back and forth as he walked back to the dealing table. After seeing that interaction he wondered, "would that guy have stopped if dice had a ring on his finger?"

That night after the casino closed devil was out on the balcony taking a smoke while dice was in the bath. He looked at the rings that were in his hands and thought about his mother's words "you
Slip this ring on his finger he will be immortal and will be bound to you forever ." He didn't wanna make dice uncomfortable and rush things but on the other hand, he wanted dice to stay with him forever. It would be a win for him and his mother.

That was it devil had made his decision he was going to propose to dice tomorrow during work in front of everyone. "Dev? Are you coming to bed it's cold out here. "Devil's eyes widened when he turned around to see dice in a red robe. (The picture above) "Woah when did you get that!?" Devil began foaming at the mouth staring at dice. "Oh, this thing? Your mom sent it to me she thought I would look fabulous in it!" He did a spin.

"She was right!" He said while walking up to dice. "I know I look fabulous but I also feel fabulous!" Dice posed. Devil grabbed dice's waist, "nope! You can't touch unless you come to bed it's cold I'm not letting you seduce me on the balcony!" He said dragging the devil to their bed. "Okay okay in a minute I just need to do something really quick." He started walking out the bedroom door.
"What exactly is it that you need to do?" Dice folded his arms.

"You'll see later I'll be back I promise." Devil kissed dices head and walked out the door. He walked along the long hallways with many photos hanging up some of him and some of him and dice. Looking at them made a mile grow across his face. After walking he finally reached the dining room where henchmen and a few other servants were cleaning up. "Oh hey boss you out late" henchmen waved.

"Yeah, and you guys cleaned up nicely." He smiled. "Yup, anything for you boss!" "So henchmen can you phone my mother for me please I need to talk to her." The whole room went silent after listening to devil's request. "Sure boss but may I ask why you never call your mother unless it's something urgent." henchmen asked. "It's none of your concern just call her." He growled and henchmen followed the command.

He brought the phone to the devil, "here boss" he said shakily. Devil picked up the phone and sat at the dining table "what is it Lucifer mommy's busy?" She asked annoyed. "Mother I've decided to propose to dice tomorrow and I want you to be there." He placed his feet on the table. All the imps looked shocked and the room was silent. "Oh looks like you stopped being so hard-headed and listened to your mother but I can't be there tomorrow sorry."

"What why not!?" He yelled. "Sorry Lucifer darling but your father wants me to come up to heaven for a meeting or something so sorry." She hung up the phone. "ARGH" devil yelled slamming the table. "It's alright boss we'll all be there to see it happen." Henchmen patted his back. The phone rang again and henchmen answered it "um hello?" He asked. "Hello, henchmen this is dice I was wondering have you seen devil?"

Devil shot back up "oh shit tell him I'll be there in a few minutes." He said rushing out of the dining room. After minutes and about 5 hallways later he made it to the bedroom and saw dice standing with hands on his hips. "A few minutes huh?" He asked annoyed. "Dice, my love I'm sorry, ruler of the underworld things" he got on his knees while hugging dices waist and sobbing. "Oh get up you big baby." He rolled his eyes.

Devil got up and dice stroked his chin, devil began to purr. "Did you just.. purr?" Dice busted out into laughter. Devil became embarrassed and turned pink Turing his head away from dice "baby it's cute." Dice said reassuring him and scratching him behind the ears. "Alright let's get to bed I'm tired." Devil carried dice to their bed and slept
