Chapter 12: The search

There was a knock on the door. "Who is that!?" Ophelia dice yelled from the bed sick. "Don't worry about it mom I got it!" Cagney said getting the door. He opened the door to see a man who looked a lot like Ophelia in distress. "Hello, how may I help you?" The little flower boy asked. "Does Ophelia dice live here still, I'm looking for her?" He sniffled. "Oh, moms Ill at the moment but you're free to come inside." The boy moved to the side.

Dice was confused but walked inside, the house was still the same but with photos of the flower boy everywhere. "So Ophelia your mother?" Dice asked sitting at a table. "Well yeah she found me when I was just a pod a few months ago, I was so helpless and she took me in now it's just us." He sighed looking down. "She got Ill recently and I've been taking care of her." He shed a tear. "How do you know her?" He asked. Dice was shocked that she had never said anything about him to her new child.

"We'll I'm her son." He looked down. " Woah so I have a brother!?" Stars lit up in his eyes causing a smile to creep upon dices face. "Yup but ma doesn't really like me that much." He sighed. "Why wouldn't mom like you your her son and you seem pretty cool?" Cagney asked. "We'll some mistakes were made that I can't take back." He sighed. He got up and walked to Ophelia's room and began knocking. "Who is it!?" She screeched. Dice opened the door and tears came down her face.

"Kingsley?" She squinted her eyes. "It's been months!" She opened her arms. "I'm sorry ma for the things I did and the decisions I've made." He cried in his mother's arms. "it's okay baby I knew you would come back to your senses, you know where home is." She smiled happily now that her baby was back home. Meanwhile, henchmen was leaving the casino to look for dice and make his boss happy again. He had just made sure his boss was satisfied before he took a nap. Henchmen felt so bad that his boss was miserable, he knew he had to fix this. But he had no idea where dice could have gone.

He lifted himself off the dirt road in front of the casino with his tiny wings overlooking the woods to see if there was any sign of dice. Dice was walking in the woods with Cagney skipping by his side as their mother had sent her two boys out to get dinner from the store. They were walking along the road when Cagney asked "Hey Kingsley when we get there can I get candy?" Dice sighed. "Sorry little bud mom only gave me enough money for groceries." he patted his head.

"but you have a job at that casino place dont you have money?" He tilted  his head. Dice stopped as he remmbered the proposal, devil pulling out a ring, the heart tugging words "dice will you marry me?" dice snapped out of it. "well just because i have a job dosent mean i have money for you all the time." he booped his nose and sighed. They continued walking farther when dice was swept into the bushes, dropping the money, his wallet, eyeshadow, a shoe  and leaving cagney alone. 

"kingsley?" the little flower looked around for his big brother. He was so scared that whatever took kingsley might take him next so he sprinted to his house back in the woods as quickley as he could. "ohh im never gonna find him and boss is gonna be sad forver." henchmen groaned, suddenley he was knocked to the ground. "oh im so sorry mister i was in a rush i need to hurry before it gets me!" henchmen looked up and it was a little flower boy wearing pants way larger than he was.

"uhh before what gets you?" he scratched his head. "i dont know exactly but all i know is that it snatched my brother!" he cried. Henchmens eyes lit up, mabey this was a clue to dice. " well what does he look like, i can help you." cagney wiped his tears and pointed. "well he has a really funny dice head that you can spin and he likes makeup even though hes a boy." he whispered. "well lets go find him!" henchmen smiled taking the little boys hand.
