Chapter 16: your fault

After months of going to different doctors and trying devil and dice finally got the devastating news from the doctor that it would be impossible to have a baby. Dice was deeply effected by the news he couldn't get out of bed, Devil on the other hand wasn't that much in shock but he felt bad for dice. The next few weeks devil took over for dice as he couldn't get out of bed. "Hey boss, what happened to dice?" Wheezy slid over to him. "He's upset." Devil grumbled and all the bar staff came over to them.

"What happened??" Pirouletta asked. Devil was hesitant to tell them but he saw the casino staff as family so he opened up, telling them about the struggle with having a baby and they all looked sad and showed sympathy. "Wait if your the devil boss, why can't you and dice just magically make a baby?" Mangosteen chimed in. Everyone turned to him and devil got an idea. "You completely right mangosteen" he said rushing out the casino and back to his castel. "So do we get back to work or wait on him..." hopus pocus asked. Devil walked through the halls of the castle until he reached the door at the end of the hallway.

He opened the door and walked down the deep dark stairs to and made it to the bottom, nothing was there but candles and a giant pentagram. He murmured to him self, "please work" before lighting each candle around the pentagram after a few minutes the pentagram grew a dark red and it exploded. Out came a yellow tiny glow creature with half angel halo and half demon horn. "Now if it isn't Lucifer, coming for another favor I see?" The little creature checked her nails. "Uhh you know that's not my name anymore." He grumbled. "Yeah Yeah, but anyways what do you want from me now?" She rolled her eyes.

Devil took a deep breath before saying anything. "Just spit it out!!" She grabbed his cheeks. "Fine!! Do you thinks it's possible for you to conjure up a baby for me and dice??" He ask quickly looking at the floor. "Holdon.. you, Lucifer, the ruler of hell?? Want a baby!!??" She couldn't help but laugh. "I'm being serious Dina!" He roared. "Ok ok I just had to let that out but do you know how long that takes luci??" She raised an eyebrow. "Yea I know but dice really wants one we can wait 9 months." He grinned. "Ugh Fine ur lucky I love you." She rolled her eyes. "Thanks!!" He hugged her. She pushed him off her.

"Alright you know the rules, bring your partner down to the pentagram, get a drop of blood from them, drop it into this here pentagram, wait 9 months and we'll have your baby here for you in no time!" She smiled. "Alright let me go get dice then." He ran up the stairs. After a while he made it to the bedroom and saw dice still lying on his side shaking. He closed the door behind him silently. "I hear you dev" dice shouted from the bed , devil lied down next to him. "What do you want?" He groaned. Devil was hurt that dice was giving him attitude, he sat up "dice why are you acting like this is my fault?" Dice paused "because it is." He said quietly choking back tears.

"What the fuck how is it my fault!?" Devil shouts. "Don't fucking yell at me." Dice says silently. Devil calms down as he realizes dice is saying all this because of how bad he wants to be a father. He walks over to dices side of the bed, kneels down and holds his hands seeing the tears in his eyes, he looks a mess. "Look, I know it's hard and you know I love you right?" Dice looks into devils eyes. "And what if I told you we could still have our baby without you or I having to carry it?" He smiles. Dice sucks up his tears and sits up. "H..huh?" He wipes his tears. "Just follow me"
