Nova and Draco walked back into the Manor to find Lucius and Narcissa in what appeared to be a heated argument. They immediately stopped talking when they saw Nova and Draco enter.

"Alright?" Nova asked.

"Where have you two been?" Narcissa asked, ignoring Nova's question. "I was worried."

"We just went for a hike," Nova answered.

"Are you packed for tomorrow, Draco?" Narcissa asked, turning her attention to her son.

"I'll do it now," Draco said, brushing off his mother's concerns.

"I can help," Nova offered. "That is, if you want."

"Sure." Draco walked out of the room to head to his bedroom. Nova followed, but not before seeing the smirk on Lucius's face.

Nova sat cross-legged at the edge of Draco's bed, watching him pack. His room was littered in clothes, piles of books, and old toys.

"You're just like your father," Nova said, picking up a dirty shirt from the bed and tossing it onto the floor. "So messy."

"I thought you said you'd help." Draco smirked, picking up the shirt and shoving it into his suitcase.

"You've been here like two days. How did your room get this bad?"

Draco ignored her, continuing to shove pieces of clothing into his bag.

"What do you think your parents were arguing about?" Nova asked hesitantly.

"Dunno." Draco shrugged. "Have they been fighting a lot lately?"

"I haven't noticed," Nova lied.

"You seem to bring up my father a lot," Draco remarked.

"I do not," Nova argued. "I was just curious." Nova picked up a discarded pair of shorts from the ground and threw them at Draco, hoping to distract him from the subject.

"Do you mind?" Draco asked with a smile, tossing the shorts back at Nova.

"Ew, please don't throw your dirty clothes in my face," Nova teased.

"You started it."

His bedroom door opened and Lucius walked in. Nova and Draco looked up at him. Lucius looked around the room, eyes lingering on Nova.

"Your mother would prefer the door to remain open when you have a girl in here," Lucius said.

"She's just a friend, father," Draco said.

"I am just letting you know your mother's wishes," Lucius stated. "It is a mess in here, Draco."

"Your office is no better, Lucius," Nova remarked. Draco turned to give her a concerned look.

"Hm." Lucius turned to leave. "A word, Nova."

With a sigh, Nova stood and followed Lucius down the hall.

"It appears to be going well," Lucius noticed, turning to face her.

"It was until you made me leave," Nova crossed her arms.

"Don't get too close to him," Lucius warned.

"You're sending me mixed signals, Lucius."

"Befriend him, but don't make him fall in love with you."

Nova barked out a laugh. "You're joking, right?"

"A young, attractive girl is sitting on his bed. Do you understand what that does to 16 year old boys?"

"No, I don't. Please enlighten me."

"Enough with your sarcasm." Lucius looked back down the hall towards Draco's room. "Just don't overdue it."

"Are we jealous, Lucius?"

Lucius took a quick step forward, forcing Nova against the wall. His hand rested next to her head and he leaned into her. "I don't get jealous, Nova. What I want, I get."

"That's awfully vain of you." Nova's hands slowly make contact with Lucius's chest. His hand grabbed her waist. "Tell me what you want," Nova whispered, eyes fluttering close.

"I want you to obey me," Lucius said.

"Done." Nova looked up at Lucius. He brushed her lips with his, teasing her. "Kiss me."

"Ask nicely," Lucius ordered.

"Please, kiss me," Nova whispered. Her brain screamed at her to stop, trying to think of how complicated things would get if she gave into her desires, however every nerve in her body urged her on.

Lucius removed his hand from her waist and used a finger to tilt her chin up, forcing Nova to look at him. "No," he said.

"What?" Nova's eyes snapped open wider.

"I like seeing you beg, love," Lucius said. "It's quite enticing, I'll admit. However, it is the middle of the day and my entire family is home."

Nova's cheeks flushed red, she could feel her heart hum in her chest. "What is wrong with you, Lucius?"

Lucius flashed a smile, tracing her jaw line with his thumb. "I can't help teasing you, love." He pushed away from her and walked off, leaving her standing in the hallway, dumbfounded.
