☂ Oh, shit. Why? ☂
It's just a few minutes before half past seven o'clock.
Five and Eight Hargreeves were standing in front of the tall building of 'Southland Life' hotel, the darkness of the night making the sign overshine the road leading to it's entry.
"This is it." Eight breathed out, trying to shake off the nerves.
The two ex-assassins walked into the building, their hands gripping the other's tightly as their feet took them up the uncountable number of stairs, to get to the elevator.
Five pushed on the button, standing in front of the sealed doors, waiting for them to open.
Finally, they step inside, the boy pushing one of the many buttons decorating the inside of the invention, patiently waiting for the doors to close again.
Just inches from the two sides collapsing into each other, the sensors were triggered by Diego's hand pushing through the small gap, the elevator doors opening widely once more.
"Wait up." Diego squished himself inside the small room the invention offered, stepping next to Eight.
"Hold it." Allison ran towards the elevator, entering as well.
"Hey, everyone." Klaus' enthusiastic voice echoed through the empty hall as he passed the rest to stand by the back of the steel wall, with Vanya following close behind.
"Excuse me." Luther showed, squeezing himself into the small elevator, standing the tallest in the middle with the rest of the siblings standing by the sides.
"Good. We're all here." Five sighed, a small smirk plastering his face as he watched the doors close.
Eight stared at the platform on the top of the front wall, the numbers switching by seconds, going higher and higher while they stood in silence.
Suddenly, the small area filled with a disgusting smell, everyone gagging and holding their noses while blaming Luther, who blamed it on the nerves, as the elevator rode higher.
The ding, followed by the opening doors was their cue to get out, each of them commenting on what they had to endure in those few seconds, disgusted by it.
The Hargreeves siblings arrived at the place the meeting would be held, the Tiki Lounge, followed by a few steps of stairs, island music playing softly through the speakers.
"All right, when Dad gets here, Eight and I will do the talking, okay?" Five stated, feeling confident as he walked towards the only set table there was at the Lounge.
"Got a few questions for him myself." Diego commented.
"Hey, we don't wanna scare him off. He might be able to help us stop doomsday, get us home." Five tried to reason with his brother.
"No, we need to figure out why he's planning to kill the president." the man exhaled.
"This is a matter of life and death, you imbecile." the boy bit his words at him.
While the siblings were usually bickering, Eight took a seat around the round table, sighing and rolling her eyes as her ears filled with endless shouts.
"Okay, yeah, maybe we should take turns talking. Yeah? Here, whoever has got this conch shell gets to talk." Vanya lifted up the object, showing it around for everybody to see.
"Vanya, we don't have time for a debate, okay?" Five spoke, his body clearly in distress as he hovered over the table.
"Maybe I should lead. We all know I'm a better public speaker than the rest." Allison proposed her idea, everyone found stupid.
