"Oh my God, did you see Lewis's face?" Sam squeaked holding his stomach not being able to stop laughing.
"I feel sorry for Haley though, I think you guys traumatized her for life". Lacryma tried to sound serious but she failed. She thought that what happened was hilarious and felt guilty about it. She was playing with Sebastian's untied tie bow while he was, as it looked like, napping on her lap with his hands crossed in front of his torso.
Sam, Abigail, Sebastian and Lacryma have just left from from the Flower Dance and were having a late evening picnic in the river side south of Cindersap Forest.
"Don't be sorry about her" Abigail answered. "I bet she wouldn't feel sorry if this had happened to you. Or to anyone really"
Sam was eating the leftovers from the picnic basket "Yeah it was random anyway, it just happened that she was closer. Hey you two. Get a room" he threw an empty plastic glass towards Sebastian and Lacryma, that were accused of inappropriate behavior for no reason basically.
Sebastian opened his eyes which they were sparkling as he was ready for mischief. "Lets go get him Lacry"
And with no second word they both got up and hopped on Sam. Lacryma sat literally on his stomach forcing him to lie down pinning his hands on the ground and Sebastian started to tickle and smooching him "Are you jealous love?"
Sam was laughing hysterically begging them to stop and Abigail rolled her eyes. She added some wood to the small bonfire and looked at her friends playing like kids. Sam was the usual adorable clown making too much noise. Lacryma ended up to be cool, she had a bit of mixed feelings about her, lets say a year ago, but now she thinks that she gave balance to their group. From all the females in the town Lacryma was by far her favorite. But Sebastian ... Sebastian has been a whole new person since the farmer started to hung out with them. It was like she beamed him with energy and will to live. He was more relaxed around her and talkative. Shining when she was around and being down when she was not. He also stopped making plans about moving to the city. Her boy must have been in love. As long as she plays nice with him I'm fine with this. But if she dares to fuck him over I'm gonna kick her ass. Abigail was overprotective over Sebastian since they were kids. She wanted him to be happy.
--A few hours earlier--
It was a sunny day. Into the floral vibe of Spring the people of Pelican Town were gathered in Cindersap forest for the annual Flower Dance. The pairs were already in place getting ready for the music to start. Lacryma was standing by her self. Everything was exactly like last year. When she has been only a couple of weeks in the town, the Flower Dance was the first festival she was ever invited. She remembers how nervous she was. She had already met everyone by that time but didn't have any friends yet. Even Harvey was still almost a stranger. She has made many attempts to learn the flower dance during the year and she has even practiced with Abigail, but in the end she did not want to participate. She would only want to dance with Sebastian anyway and she knew how much he hated this stuff, that she didn't like the idea of asking him to do something he didn't enjoy. Then every year he was paired with Abigail. Lately she was spending a lot more time with him than what Abigail was and she was feeling that she was getting in the middle of their friendship. Abigail never mentioned anything but Lacryma has felt many times Abigail's eyes fixating on her and Sebastian when they were together -so yeah she didn't want to break their tradition with this dance. Also there was always the possibility that Sebastian would say no. And that was the worst. At least as a viewer, it was safe to stare at him as much as she wanted. She sighed as she leaned against a tree. Sebastian disliked with all his heart the festival's attire but truth to be told it suited him well. He looked like he had escaped from an anime, with his slim silhouette and gorgeous face, stunning sapphire eyes matching the color of the costume. His body was swinging naturally following the music and one would never have guessed that the whole dance thing was a bother to him. The elder people were watching admiring the youth, moving their bodies and hands proving that once upon a time it was them on the "dance floor".
