The calm before the storm -Part 2-

Saturday was rehearsal day. Since they were teenagers, Sam and Sebastian would meet and play music together. The first years, they were playing covers. Sam on the bass and Sebastian on the keyboards. It was only a few years ago, when they wrote their own first song. And then another. Soon they were mainly playing their own music and decided that they had enough material to start a band. They needed however a drummer. Eventually, Abigail was officially added to the group with her sticks and the band was finally complete.

When Sebastian arrived at Sam's home it was too late and Abigail was hungry. Also, given the fact that both Sam and Abigail knew that their friends have hooked up the previous night, they really couldn't think of anything else, yet alone to play music. They were eager to hear all the details that's why they were waiting for Sebastian to show up down the river side. Sebastian was mentally prepared for interrogation, but for the first time in his life he was not stressed or bothered about it. He could deal with them. He sat on the grass joining the other two and lighted up a cigarette. He was silent, enjoying their persistent looks. Nah, he was not about to start talking. He liked the fact that they were waiting so hungrily for a story tell.

"OMG you are such an ass, will you tell us what happened or do we need to beg you?" Sam was irritated and curiosity was killing him.

"He got laid, it's so obvious" Abigail was playing with a yo yo, hungry and bored but equally curious as Sam.

Sebastian demonstrated his half-smile when he heard what Abigail said. Was it so obvious? "Why would you say that Abi?"

"Well first thing first, you have a giant hickey. Second Lacryma's shower gel stinks all over you. She is the only person I know that uses strawberry shower gel. At least she got you cleaned" she said and gave him a light punch on his ribs.

Sebastian laughed and thought that he should find a way to cover up his neck when he would get back home.

Sam grabbed Sebastian's head and tried to see the hickey "woooo man she ate you haha, I can only imagine after she has been waiting for so long".

Sebastian has not said anything yet and waited until the two of them stopped their monkey business. When he felt that they had calmed down and he had their attention, he smiled again. "I don't know how, but we are definitely together. Yesterday I had the best time of my life."

Sam and Abigail, blinked for a moment and then jumped to give him a hug, cheering. They were happy. They could tell that Sebastian was happy and that was so important to them.

"Boys, I'm starving. Shall we go get some pizza? And Seb can tell us everything on our way to Gus." The other two nodded. "Oh and Seb" Abigail put her hand on his shoulder. ".. a while ago when Lacryma started to hung out with you, I said to my self that if she would do anything to hurt you I would kick her ass." Sebastian looked at her a bit confused. "Now goes the other way around too. Gonna kick your ass if you treat her bad." Abigail got up waving them to follow her.

I will try my best Abi. I feel I don't deserve her and I hope I will be enough for her. I want to give her so much. I want to be a better person for her.

It was getting a little late. After a lot of food and many pool games, the trio was chilling in the arcade room of the saloon. It was another warm evening and they were debating whether to get some beers or wait for Lacryma to join them first. She should be there in any moment. Sebastian felt his phone buzzing in his pocket. "This must be her" he said and took the phone to read the message. It was quite some time since he texted her. When he read what was written on the screen, he felt that something was off.
