Jisung and Hyunjin spent the next hour cleaning every little thing until it was up to Hyunjin's standards, which were way too high.
"Jinnie, honey, I really don't think he's going to care if the top of the fridge is clean," Jisung said, exhausted.
"You never know," Hyunjin responded, double checking everything again.
"When is he even coming over?" Jisung asked, laying on the couch.
Hyunjin was silent.
"You forgot to give him a time, didn't you?"
"That's a possibility," Hyunjin admitted quietly.
"Did you even give him our address?" Jisung laughed. He wouldn't expect anything else from Hyunjin.
"...I might have left out that detail"
Now Jisung was having a full on laughing fit. This was so entertaining it almost made up for all the cleaning Hyunjin made him do. Almost.
"Stop it!" Hyunjin said, throwing a towel at him. "I'm doing my best!"
"I know, that's what's so funny," Jisung replied.
"You're so mean to me!" Hyunjin yelled.
The door clicked open, Chan and Changbin entered.
"Jisung, what did you do?" Changbin said.
"Me? Why would you assume I did something?" Jisung replied innocently.
"Because Hyunjin is distraught and you're the only person in the house," Changbin pointed out.
"That doesn't matter, Hyunjin is always distressed," Jisung muttered.
Hyunjin gasped. "Do you see how he treats me?"
Chan sighed. "We've been home for less than a minute"
"Don't ever leave me alone with him again" Hyunjin said, going to Chan for comfort. "He cannot be trusted"
Jisung threw his hands up in the air. "I cannot believe this, after all the cleaning I did for you"
Changbin looked around the dorm. "Everything is suspiciously clean... did you guys murder someone while we were out?"
"What? No!" Hyunjin denied.
Chan patted his head. "It's ok, we won't be mad if you did, you just have to be honest"
"Really? That's it?" Jisung asked.
"No, Jisung," Changbin said. "If you murdered someone we would be a little mad"
"For real, why did you clean the house?" Chan asked.
"Can't you accept that we just wanted to do something nice for you?" Jisung countered, doing his best to keep Hyunjin's secret.
"No, I cannot accept that" Chan said, eyeing them both with suspicion. He had a feeling they weren't telling him something, which was putting him on edge. It was never a good thing when Hyunjin and Jisung teamed up on something.
"We're going to have a guest over for dinner," Hyunjin said.
"Oh?" Changbin said. "We are?"
"Is what I'm wearing fine?" Chan asked.
Hyunjin looked offended by the mere implication. "Absolutely not, this is a formal dinner"
"Who are we getting all dressed up for?" Changbin asked.
"You ask too many questions," Jisung said, going to Chan and Changbin's room to look through their closets. The dorm did have four rooms, but they used one of them as a studio so Chan and Changbin shared a room.
